Hiya I used to be on here all the time everyday lol....I was doing well following my banding and then my life went pear-shaped and i put most of the weight back on.:cry:

As of today I have started back and im determind to suceed ....and i know that here is the place to talk and look for support.

I hope to meet new friends and old and we can share our journeys together

My life basically.......had a breakdown over my husband having an affair with a friend.......got very ill and in a very very bad place then started to pull myself together at new year and I slipped over and ripped the cruciate liagament off my knee....making me incapable of any form of exercise even walking....I only got my surgery on 8th may and can only just walk without crutches.....will be months of physio etc till I can exercise.

I put back on 2 stone!:cry::cry::cry: and know that I have to pull myself together and get back on track with my weight:wave_cry: Only I can change my life

if your ready to get back on track then you can, sorry to hear about whats happened to you though it isnt nice, we are all here for you as before, do you still have any band restriction or has that all gone, i was 2bandsliz, my bands leaky and im waiting to go to a bypass now, u will remember me from my old user name, we are here to help you get thro this and get back on track x

Hi Hun welcome back hope your doing OK I'm sorry to hear about what happen that was a big betrayal no one could blame you it was all so much for any one o handle but please dont let him ruin your life any longer..We all are here for you hopefully with time things will get better and very soon you will be back on the right track..All the best hun..xxx

I definitely remember you. I was booked to have my band at the same time last year and then I had a sore throat and couldn't go ahead. You were my inspiration.
After the cancellation in April i then rebooked for july and my husband was made redundant so I cancelled again believing i could really do it on my own.
This year - having lost no weight and found a bit more - i booked the op again and went ahead on 1st June.
When I came back to the site i was searching for you to see how you were doing but couldn't find any trace of you.
I'm sorry to hear things havent gone well but you were so positive before and were a shining example for everyone. You can sort this out and have the life you want - you deserve it. The people on here are still really lovely and everyone truly has their ups and downs.
Come back and start again. you havent got to recover from the op you can get started and it will help you to feel much better about life
Sorry for the essay but you left such an impression on me I felt i wanted to let you know

Thanks so much for those kind words Jo< im sorry to hear yours has been an up and down battle too.....Im so please you have had your op thats great news :553:
I am half way through day one of the pouch test and Im well prepaired as been in hospital all week with chest pain turned out to be a touch of pluresy....but following on from the major surgery there was panic alround that it was a blood clot! anyway the food was rubbish and I had the idea that I was going to start back so whilst I was bed bound with no naughty food about I cut right back and got the horrible carb headache out the way....so now getting back on track properly.

Need to book a fill with the lovely Wendy too and see how my bands standing up etc.

I have to do it cos last year when i lost all my weight i got rid of 90% of my clothes and got new ones which now dont fit so wearing a mish mash and its not good

Hi Wanda...nice to see you back ...we're fb friends too but I don't talk about band stuff on there.
I'm due to have a 3rd surgery on 2nd July as I've had port problems since day one with mine and lots of stitch pains...my wl is minimal at the moment, but am hoping that doing the liver shrinking diet before next op will get me focused and help to lose a few lbs....I'm also waiting to have an MRI on my right knee (probs since I was run over 23 years ago ) so can't do impact exercise to shift weight either!

Hi there I don't know you as I have only been here since August. I am so sorry to hear your troubles but think it takes a very strong woman to pull yourself back from the brink and start again.
