but sounds like your ont he right track now and you have all our support any time you need it :)

.x.

Thank you all so much, its lovely to hear from old friends and to hear from new ones too.

Im sticking with the pouch test and onto mushys today Ewwww:eek: but already feel more in control and also being VERY strict with myself re eating and drinking close together. and also the wine:break_diet: miss the wine but I have to be good and stop it and that way I can go back to enjoying it more. Oh to add to my joys I also gave up smoking 6 weeks ago and whilst Im going strong it is hard to not turn to food or wine as comfort.

I will get there :D

Hi Wanda

Lovely to see you back posting :D good luck with the 5 day pouch test and getting back on track x

Hi Mrs CB
You are already sounding a lot more positive and taking some good steps forward. Dont put yourself under too much pressure by trying to conquer too many things all at once - you're only human :D
I had my stitches out tonight and worried all the way home that the wound was leaking! It's fine but your mind can be very powerful sometimes both positive and negative. i even took my bra off after I got petrol (much to one unsuspecting man's surprise) cos I thought it was rubbing on the scar
Best laugh I've had for a while
Keep smiling

Mrs Cakeyyyyyyy...

awww hunni... you have been through the wars havent you eh?

well.. you're now back in a better place and with the help and support of everyone on here and people from previous loss that you succeeded with.. am sure you will be back on track in no time..

as for anything else..forget him, he had you, he screwed up - you'll be stronger in the long run..Concentrate on YOU.. Now - I can understand your limits with exercising - my knees/joints are slightly fahoomidieded too - so I swim when I can... find it very theraputic too

Am also in recovery from para-umbilical hernia repair operation done in Feb '10 - internal now in second stage of recovery as it were - the wounds healed and now muscle slowly begining to grow through the mesh to strengthen abdominal wall...

if you got me on facebook - gimme a shout ( PM me if anyone wants it) - always there for my friends..

in the meantime Wanda

Smile.. you have loads ppl loving you and ready to help :)

The first steps are always the worst and hardest of them all.

Stay positive and dont let others drag you down with negative comments or comments about what happend in the past months.

This is now about you. Its your life, how you move on now is down to you.

Try to watch your calorie intake while your band is not as tight as it should be, if you do feel like you want to cheat rather than give in occupy your mind with something else.

Finding yourself after parting with someone is another part of loosing weight. There are many routines you have to break, it will take time but just try to enjoy yourself and as i say stay positive and focused. GLxxxx
