I started off by having a slim fast or a protein shake in the morning, took me about 30 mins to finish it to begin with, by end of week it was gone in about 5 mins! For lunch I had soup, about 1/2 can to begin with - by end of week I was managing the full can. For tea I either had a yoghurt or a custard pot. For first few days this was enough for me but by end of first week I was starting to feel hunger, so my provider said I could go on mushy.
Just go with what your provider says and don't force it and don't worry - we are all different.
