Help!!!!

Yes to both!

Bugger it. I'm very dry anyway from having Stevens johnson syndrome n using a c pap breathing machine at night. Roll on when blubber reduces n the damn machine can go out the door :) hopefully will know more next Friday as to an idea of dates :) xx

I'm always thirsty and dry mouth, so about 2-4 pints a day but still struggling with regular eating. X

Me too, at least we are similar. I bought 50% less Tropicana drinks today and kept 100 mls of orange and mango down, was lovely.
I've also got the Weight Watchers Greek style yoghurts, again, kept one down.

For my dry mouth/breath I've got SMINT sugar free micro sweets, such a relief! Even if you forget about it and swallow it they are so small you can tolerate them.

Hope you drink a bit more today Hun, I'm aiming for 1.5 litres today, which is a mountain at this point as I'm only 350mls down so far.....it's going to be a sipping fiesta this evening!!! X

I think I've got away with it!!! Finished eating it over an hour ago and apart from some burping and feeling full, I'm fine!!! :)

Oh no! If you feel rubbish, try some corn snacks that melt into nothing, they've perked me up a couple of times!! (Skips, frazzles, wot sits etc)

Hope you feel better tomoz xx

Half of a Youngs Ocean Pie tonight, I'm surprising myself! Still struggling with the fluids, only 1 litre again today!

Please don't resort to quavers etc. that's a bad habit to get into this early post op.

I totally agree its not ideal, but when you feel so fatigued what are the options? I dump on yoghurts/milk anything with sugar in.....

Thankfully I've had 2 good sized meals today and managed cauliflower cheese yesterday, so no need for any 'snacks' but I did benefit from them when I was unable to hold anything in and getting dizzy over the weekend and Mon/tues.

I'm in the same boat. X

What do ppl recommend please in this situation ?

At your stage, dairy is your friend. Milk, yogurt, soft cheese (providing you aren't intolerant), will provide essential nutrients and are pretty easy to consume.

The first couple of months, whilst working through the stages, can be pretty miserable. I made myself a promise when I came out of hospital, that everyday I would try something new. So that's what I did.

I wish dairy was my friend!! I try a yoghurt/shake everyday but no joy yet! Hopefully my 3rd week will tolerate it! Xx

Is it possible you have developed an intolerance? Its not unheard of. Perhaps you could try the lacto free stuff.
