Help!!!!

I have no trouble drinking, eating is my problem. Very rarely hungry and still only eating very small amounts. I know I need to eat more but eating when I'm not hungry makes me feel sick :/

I really sympathise with you Nic, I know it's such a struggle....I dread eating because I know it could make me sick. Just have a few teaspoons regularly. I'm literally living my life by a timer. Each hour I have a drink (200mls) and then wait 30-45 mins either side for food.

Keep your chin up Hun. Protein shakes are great, I bought mine from Asda, it gives me 20g protein with each 200ml mix. Keep trying xxx

This may help Nicola- I'm sure Chrisa won't mind me copying her message to me on a different thread. It really helped me to focus on my diet. Hope it does for you too!!

Ceecie are you having enough? You should be eating about 6 little meals a day at this stage and usually puree. There are lots of things you can have, be imaginative I know food is the furthest thing form peoples minds at the start but you have to eat to keep your strength up. You need protein, chicken, cheese, milk etc. I used to get my meals sorted for the day, breakfast-1/2 Weetabix or 1/2 porridge sachet. s- snack pot yoghurt. L -pureed veg with meat from sunday lunch. s- custard with pureed fruit/sfree jelly. D- 1/3 -1/2 tin of Heinz big beef n veg or chicken veg soup pureed. s - milk/ milky drink. there are loads of things you can have all veg just add gravy or cheese sauce , fruit pureed, once you get to 4 weeks well am going by my hospital yours may say different then go onto soft food stage, protein is most important, you can have soft cheese, dairylea etc mix it with potato or have as a snack. xxx

Scrambled egg with a little Philadelphia mixed in is my babies favourite! I love it too so will keep this in mind for when I'm at that stage ;-)

4 stone lost in 9 weeks! I never would have lost that weight if I hadn't started this new journey!

Positivity abounds!! :)

Brilliant loss hun p. well done you :)

Great news. Well done

Looooong way to go ladies, but I'm well up for it!!! :) xxx

Yes it is a long way hun but if it helps I started this WLS thing just a year ago and I'm a tad short of a 12stone loss :). If someone told me I was going to be in the fifteen stones range by this Christmas I would have told them not to be so stupid ;)
You are doing brilliantly well hun and you will get there :D xx

WOW Frankie!! 15 stones in a year!? Absolutely fantastic! You must be over the moon!!

I think my expectations for the first year are between 8 and 10 stone loss.....I couldn't dare hope for more......

I seem to have put 6lbs on overnight! I know my time of the month is due.....but I'm not going to lie, I was gutted when I got on the scales this morning! I still worry its not going to work and I'm just going to stay as I am!!!!!

12 stones hun I wish it was 15. I would be so close to my target then :8855:

Aunty Flo (yes Yve I remember that one :giggle: )has a habit of scuppering things for all us ladies. Im so glad i dont have to worry about such things any more. That gain will go and take a few extra pounds with it .. keep up the good work with the fluid intake too hun :) xx
