Hi, I'm Kirsty, banded August 2014. My post op dairy

Well girls official weigh in

Not weighed in at tesco for three weeks due to my gains, loss, gains (tesco scales = 12st 1.9lbs)

On my house scales I am 12st 4lbs

Loss over the three weeks =. 4lb
Total weight loss of 3st 1.5lb

A bit disappointing as during this three weeks of ups and downs I did get to within 1lb of this.

So...bottom line....put it all behind me.

My loss from my last official weigh in three weeks ago is 4lb (even though I have lost another 5lb over my two gains) I'm just thinking, if I had not had the gains I would actually be 9lb lighter in three weeks in stead of 4lbs

It's my three month anniversary of my surgery in seven days. I would dearly like to get another 3lb off for then

3st in 3 months is pretty amazing Kirsty. You're doing great. x

Thanks girls x

not coming to aquavit tonight, better spend some time with Lindsay as I'm off again with my friends this weekend.

One of my friends has a log cabin in Inverbegg, sitting about 15 feet away from the stunning waters of Loch Lomond overlooking Ben Lomond...well I suppose Ben Lomond actually overlooks the cabin.

It will be nice sitting saluting that hill with a glass of wine, instead of sipping a wee dram of whisky at the summit when I climbed it last...it's a Munro. (Just over 3,000ft) Im Heading back up it next spring in preparation for my climb up Ben Nevis in April

Sharon, I know it's a bummer! I was 12.3 and a half yesterday...should have gone to Tesco yesterday.. put on half a pound this morning :-(

oooooo well jel about log cabin x can't wait to do more thing like walking as i get fitter, people who gain weight get so breathless that they become avoiders of active things so not to be noticed... well i did and I'm now going to make use of winter to get all fit fit fit and bounce out the house come spring ha ha like some mad lizzy or green goddess or just some mad spring lamb...... x

Have a great time! Remember the booze is not your friend and the nibbles are friends with the booze!!

WTG Kirsty :) have a fab weekend....just remember how elated you feel seeing the losses and how down and disappointed when they turn to gains...... Sacrifice to get where you want to be or find a balance somewhere in between :) x x x x but most of all ENJOY x x x x

Alfie. I have always been fairly active. I have always had dogs. I used to do rescue work for German Shepherd Rescue and kept a couple of fosters, with issues!!!! In now have two rescues, again each with a few issues. I find a great tool in modifying unwanted behaviour is to drain a dogs energy....so I have always walked at least an hour, in remote places where the dogs can be off lead , most days of life. The two shepherds used to go hill climbing with me. I have done a couple of Munros and Corbetts. But, I have to say it is a lot more enjoyable now I am not hauling so much excess weight along with me.

My last works health check....they told me I had the lung capacity of a 26 year male...lol

I'm sure it's years of huffing and puffing with my walking and being so heavy
