Hi, I'm Kirsty, banded August 2014. My post op dairy

Not actually tossed the scales out yet...shudder.... Think I might put them up in the loft for a few months then bring them out again, maybe in the new year and change the battery etc. They are WW scales

But weighing in every day and no drop for three weeks was messing with my head.

At least if I see a drop with the tesco ones, or not...I will know the real situation. Mi have no confidence in my scales at the moment. Mi have had these ones for about 4 years and never changed the battery

Thanks again bear

I know what you mean. Although I'm being restrained with mine, I have been a three times a day weigher before. I haven't got on since Saturday though.

Mind you, this weekend is family weigh day. We all jump on the first weekend of the month - I do the kids height as well. Love seeing how they're changing. Hubby is on a bit of a cut down at the mo. He's not overweight at all - I think his bmi is about 25 / 26 (all muscle lol), but as with any man, a few pounds on his stomach and he notices.

The kids are normal. Well my 8 yr old boy is a little skinny, but he just doesn't keep still. My 12yr old daughter is getting some gorgeous curves. Think she'll always have to keep an eye on things, but her figure is gorgeous right now. Her aim for my wls is for us to be able to share clothes - designer clothes at that! Lol

Exactly. I'm too old for Holister surely? You can't see anything when you're in there, how will I see what I like? Lol

what did we ever do before scales were invented...... just as you have been Kirsty by our clothes..... if they felt loose we'd lost and feeing tighter was the cue to cut back LOL funny how numbers have such an effect.... stick to the tesco ones now, once a week and you'll get a true picture.... your sound like they not up to the job....toss um up in the loft and forget em :) wtg hunx x x x

Ha ha....so I was so suspicious of the tesco light weighing scales that when I walked passed a boots yesterday, I couldn't resist jumping in the scales...big mistake!

Tesco.... 12.9

Home. 13.3

Boots ...13.4

Total bummer lol

Will stick with the tesco every Thursday but wish I knew what weight I really was lol

I will take my weight loss to date from my home scales...which have dropped a pound now 13.2. Slap me gently lol. They are not up in the loft yet!!!! I am having the shudders at the very though of not going on them every day :-( though I know, know, know they have to go.

I have a lovely weekend planned. I have had the dogs out to the local park early. And in my Jammie's too. And come back to bed. At ten I will walk one dog then at 11 I will walk the other. My Rottie is a nightmare she won't keep up and just wants to plod and sniff. My wee staffy is a bundle of energy and will run back and forward keeping up with me for miles. So I have about 45 mins of slow walk and an hour of a faster pace. I will do this again tomorrow

Then this afternoon I am meeting a friend for lunch in the local. I will have a chicken ceasar salad without the croutons and the dressing on the side. Then tomorrow afternoon I am meeting up with the lovely Sharon from our forum. Dead excited about that!m

And......the X factor

What better weekend could a girl ask for

Have a great weekend Kursty. X

Are you guys both in Scotland?

Have a lovely day today girls.

Can I just say Argos have some salter scales that do water, fat percentage and BMI as well as weight. They are reduced from £49 to £19:99 ( glass ones ) you can set a programme to monitor you and others in your household- just thinking these scales mirror exactly what the SW scales say... No difference. With it without clothes on. So wondering if you got a spare £20 might be worth a **** with these scales at that price as they have been by far the best ones I've used...
;-)

Good luck chick and enjoy today

Oooo I might have a look at those scales.

Kursty, we currently in The south west. Although that's just for the last few years - am a South Eastern girl at heart. Wish I could take a bit from each area - then that would be perfect.

We did Karina...never stopped talking...lol. Sharon is just like she is on the forum...sweet, generous and very kind. I felt privileged to meet her. If you ever fancy a weekend in Glasgow we could all get together xx
