elo everyone hope you are all ok.i had my pre op 13th jan.i received my letter today to confirm admission on 13th mar I was shaking but I pulled myself together and phoned the hospital to confirm I will be there.the letter was to tell me what to take when I can eat.i don't think you will be long big brian after you pre op.they just wait for all the paperwork to come back.good luck.you all take care

elo im up at the bri.i couldn't go to Yorkshire clinic.i have sleep apnea so they say I need to be there.we did agree to a bypass at the beginning.but they keep mentioning the sleeve.on my letter of admission it say I have to see consultant dietician and senior nurse before. I could be waiting a while.i have to be there at 7.30.cant eat day before not a sausage only water.suppose that will be to keep you stomach empty.it looks like it could be a long day.never mind.you take care.will keep in touch

Good luck to both of you! Can I ask how many times did you see the dietitian before being told you had been accepted? Ans also how did you find out about funding? No one has mentioned funding yet x

No... not that I know of. I had my 1st apt a few weeks ago, then last week a sleep apnea test and now recieved my 1st apt with the dietitian. At the 1st apt the women told me that the dietitian would do a report... thats all I know. I have a million and 1 questions but when she asked if I jad any questions I couldn't thi k of 1 lol x

No not seen him, my 1st apt was with him or a member of his team and I saw the specialist nurse. Yes im from Allerton x

Lol feel like its a dating site lol only joking...... let me no how it goes...... my pre ops in a month it's gunna really drag I just need it doing ASAP as I've booked lazarotie in July an. Thailand in November lol hahah loads ov things to look forward to

Lol il ring up tomorrow, just think in 1 month it will all happen so fast! Not booked anything yet, im just looking forward to asking for my uniform a few sizes smaller! ...but it could all go down hill for me yet! Hope the dietitian is nice! She sounded nice over the phone x

Im 28, and my bmi was 52 last time it was checked, lol my uniform is basic top and trousers which seems to be 10 sizes bigger than I actually am which makes it even worse! Like my size is not bad enough lol ... I can diet well ive lost lots of weight through diet ext but I cant maintain it and pile it all plus more back on...
