I've not had a letter from the PCT, but my doc's surgery manager rang me to say they will fund it.All i've had is a letter from the hospital with an appointment.Is this normal?

Hi Candie i didnt get letter from pct just got letter for consultation at the hospital. i went to see mr ammori last tuesday and he says he can prob do by-pass in january...im so nervous though cos ive not actually had anything in writing to confirm i have funding...i scared of getting my hopes upxx
