Hi I'm just joining in this conversation are you waiting to be accepted for surgery. Why are you having a problem eating hope you don't mind me asking

I think the problems are stress related...I had a target to reach before they will let me see the surgeon that was given in March. Then they told me half way through April that it was wrong and target was moved to lose more. My meds didn't help and never have as I have many medical things going on (story of my life) and my appointment is now tomorrow.
My doctor told me that I really need to relax...er yes I know....and I will get to see the surgeon if I pass the target. Done seminar...seen psych...talked to dietitian....done sleep study and given CPAP. So now it's what's next for me.

Just had another terrible thought after reading about steroids after surgery ect.....I suffer from chronic bronchitis in winter and my asthma is triggered by even the mildest of anti inflammatory and have to wear gloves so as not to touch any creams ect when I'm in hospital.....oh dear!, well I suppose they will sort me out. I am really hoping my life will change dramatically after wls if I'm successful.

Ok so today's food was varied as I had toast for breakfast then nothing until 7pm when I had a major treat and went to McDs for a chicken salad thing with diet coke to celebrate the fact that I have met the target and I can now go ahead and have my bypass late Sept early Oct. add to that the fact the required pr op is only for 7 days and it will be ASAP after my 2wk hols equals a. Very very happy me. :)

WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO my darling Cupid am proud and very chuffed for you HUGE pat on the back...... it wasn't easy but with your fantastic will and determination it all paid off :)

I knew you could do it :) even when the chips were down you picked yourself up and carried on that fantastic mindset will certainly set you in good stead for pre op and post op :)

You'll be grinning in your sleep tonight LOL x x x x x

Cupid1964 that's is great news. It just makes you feel so much better knowing you have met that goal, I'm so pleased for you it will be here before you know it. Great news that you pre diet will be a short version mine hasn't been confirmed yet but when I go for pre op appointment it will only be two week later I have the op so mine will at the longest be two week shortest one .
