Is it lunch time yet?

Have you tried peppermint oil you can use as many drops as you want and a bottle lasts for ever. Can carry in handbag and have in cold water as well as hot. I had to have some tonight must be the weather lol

I shall be stocking my cupboards after this lol no pain killers in either lol so peppermint tea it is....... am pretty sure it is wind i can feel it ..... it just wont move up nor down lol bedtime now sleep it off :) hope your improves too x x xx

Well done on the 3lbs hun and that wreath is beautiful.
Sounds like you've had a roller coaster week! In terms of protein I guess it's just hit and hope. I'm struggling to think of what else u could try tho maybe nuts and seeds? Could try them! I would say persevere with the quorn even if it's just for u there's such a wide range of products out there! The chicken style pieces I like x

Glad you managed to keep your food down today hunni ............. sounds like you have similar pain to me :( am putting it down to trapped wind...... am sitting up with a peppermint tea before i head to bed............all else fails it will be a late night jaunt to tescos to get some windeze LOL failing that i will be on the phone to the hospital tomorrow........... hoping it is just wind lol have been terribly constipated last couple of weeks grrrr tummy pretty grumbly tho sounds like some old drains rumbling around...... LOL hope your pain killers worked ok will have to stock up my cupboards with some meds for times like this......i hate taking stuff tbh, may have to make a hot water bottle instead :) x x x x x
I don't know what is causing the pain hun but I don't think mine is trapped wind as I burp pretty often, have tried windeze and peppermint but changes nothing I just wish whatever it is would do one...was totally shocked at my reaction to my usual painkillers as I couldn't even stand without thinking I was going to pass out or be really sick. It's the first time since my op that I have had to take them and won't be doing so in a hurry again...I really hope that you get yours sorted hun because I really feel for you bless ya. Sounds like a trip to the docs if you been constipated for so long as mine and hospital told me no longer than 4 days because it could make me really ill. Like you I hate taking meds and often try to suffer pain through but every now and again it just gets too much like yesterday. Please take good care of yourself hun I am sending huge hugs and healing prayers your way. Xxx xxx

Ok so it's Saturday so therefore weigh in day...weather it's lack of food or natural graduation after the op I have lost another 4lbs this week but whatever it was im grateful for sure. :) been looking back through my fitness app to find my heaviest weight and in May I was 320lbs I am now at 277 that's a total of 43lbs gone since omg how did that happen in 6 months"????

Hi Cupid, been lurking on your diary for a while. So sorry to hear you are struggling with food.
Re quinoa: I have tried it and it's all right, didn't even know it is high in protein!
As for quorn: think the mince needs extra seasoning as it tastes horribly bland otherwise.
Your protein drink sounds great, however if you are interested, there are protein drinks with even less carbs... A bit more expensive but worth it. I love the Impact Whey protein from myprotein.com ... Under hundred calories per serving. Good luck, really hope you will have more energy soon and that you will have more success with keeping food down. X

Ok I now know why I am in so much pain. Spent this evening at A&E sent there by drop in centre. I have an inflamed gall bladder and that in turn is making my stomach tender too. Can't have anti inflammatory due to allergy. Even painfull drinking now. Will have to ring surgeon tomorrow. No wonder I was feeling sorry for myself :'(

On the plus side got my tree up this morning so that's one less job to do :)

Oh Cupid that's pants its a nasty thing to have. I had that when I was 21, it's very painful, not that your having that much any way but keep away from fats of any kind until you speak to the consultant. I had to stay away and when it really hurt keep still which is easier said than done but any movement was terrible. Sending hugs :)

Oh Cupid this is terrible for you :-(

Reading so much over the forum bout gall bladder is issues. . Never heard of this before. Never given it a thought. Is this a weight lists surgery is issue?

I was very thin when it happen to me and very active I was in the army. There was no explain given about why I got it, so I don't think it's anything to do with weight but I would be interested to find out what has caused this for Cupid.

no Hun had this before surgery and knew I needed it done but my surgeon said he didn't want to risk infection from doing them together I also have a hernia that needs repair too. He did agree to do them just not at the same time. Xx

oh I know it hurts to move as went out to see doc in the car and every bit of the 6 mile journey is humps on road for traffic calming or massive pot holes and broken surfaces. Not being allowed anti inflammatory is the worst because it has to fix by itself :(
