Is it lunch time yet?

Morning sweet-cheeks firstly have a hug from me :) and please please stay positive..... our body's will hang onto its fat stores for dear life if it thinks for just one blinking moment that its not going to get any-more food ....thats starvation mode.....and yes your at that point, which is why your not losing as quick as you'd like..... you really do need to get you intake up in order to kick start your body into a regular pattern...... yes easier said than done.and i agree you don't want to be having lots of naughty things just to up your intake!! kind a defeats to object...... just small baby steps hunni ......... can you try protein shakes to help you out? milky coffees add cals nicely..... throw in a few cheats.........add milk powder or cheese to your meals, it will increase you cal intake but not alter the bulk of your meals...... nuts?? LOL just do what your doing but try and increase by adding possibly?? I know my body couldn't cope with added exercise on so little intake, i ued to get shattered vision..... so your body will be using so much more energy now its kind of wiping out your intake, no wonder your bodys hanging of for dear life :)
The only answer is to increase what you eat hunni everyone is going to tell you the same.its just up to you how you figure out whats going to work for you.
Maybe a good start would be to list what you do eat or an eat, see if we can help give you some pointers x x x x x in the meantime.....keep smiling your beautiful smile.....its a sunny Saturday morning and spring is getting closer :) mawhhhhh x x x x x xhuge hugs

Hi Cupid it is right you do have to eat to loose,Mathis was something I just couldn't get my head around before surgery because I never eat enough to keep,a bird alive. Try to increase the type of food you eat not just the quantity eg, porridge instead of a slice of toast, an orange instead of juice etc you may not be eating toast or oranges but you get what I mean. Another trick,I've heard about is have more meals. Me I'm on three a day but increase it to six small with heathy snacks in between that might work by giving you a kick start. Good luck but don't be down its just a blip xx

Well kindness in your replies makes me feel very grateful...first thing on Monday I will ring my team to ask their advice. Today I managed half of a weetabix with milk but couldn't manage more. Deciding to go to the gym again so thought I would take my drink and some fruit for lunch with me. Didn't do very well, got into gym and turned around to come straight back home. Feeling unwell in my wisdom thought it was because I had eaten so little and the fact I feel like I have a lump in my throat. Came to lunch time and decided to eat omelette with cheese to bump the proteins up. No use at all light headed after a fork full. Headache dizzy ect then gall bladder decides to shout hi not seen you in a while. So today can hopefully do one until it decides to be other than make me feel yuk.

I seriously try my hardest to eat more and maybe this is psychological caused by stress over my gall bladder and fear of putting weight back on but I will certainly discuss it with my team. I feel hungry at times although they are few and make an effort to eat regularly anyway but as I said physically it's just not possible and causes me to vomit. I feel bad having to ask for opinions when I can't follow them. I'm not depressed or stressed in fact mainly the opposite just recently and I put that down to joining the gym and enjoying it. I don't push myself too hard and certainly not hard enough to harm me. I go with my daughter at times and once a week with a friend who is trying hard to lose enough to qualify for surgery as I did. It's just upsetting that I'm doing it for no benefit to my weight which is the sole reason that I joined. Fml it's so frustrating. Early night I hope will make things seem brighter by dawn. Thank you for your advise it is appreciated.

Hi Cupid.. I'm so sorry to hear your having a ruff time of it..... Are you taking anything for your gallbladder? I know before I had mine removed I struggled with food so that won't help with your appetite etc. are you on Lanzaprazol or the like?.. Also there are other drugs that thin the bile Actagol I think it's called. I can only eat very small amounts at one go so I'm trying to graze more ( 3- 4 walnuts etc whenever I go into the kitchen)... Try and eat a tiny something every hour maybe... 3 Grapes, ritz cracker with peanut butter, bite of baby bell, large teaspoon of yogurt, humus and cucumber batten.....That kind of thing..... Hopefully that would kick start your metabolism!...... Sending hugs your way hun. :) xx

Big thanks hun, I am to have my gall bladder out soon and really hope it eases some of it. Lanzaprazol I take twice a day but think I have a throat infection as my glands are swollen to the max and its hell to even swallow so that won't help.i did try cheese on my first omelette since my op but just couldn't eat any but a fork full. I will be glad when the op is here then that's one less problem. Thanks again for your advice very helpful :)

So sorry your feeling crappy hunni .....sending those huge hugs as always :) rainbow and smiles across the miles x x x x x

WTG on -1lb mind..... another silver lining :) x x x x x

get well sooooooon x x x x x

Just been given nystan or whatever it's called by my doctor as he says I had oral thrush and that's what is making it too painful to even drink. That and gallbladder pain is making things difficult but I'm not to do the gym now until my energy levels are back up. Even though I have every reason to be miserable today I'm not I just feel tired. Well hope this stuff works and gets rid quickly as I desperately want to drink.

Just checking in, and I hope you are feeling a bit better today.

Plenty of rest.

Take care, have a lovely evening. xxxx

OMG hunni never a dull moment there :( sending the hugest of hugs and smiles ........hope it clears up soon..... get that pesky gallbladder sorted too and you will start to feel almost human again x x x x x x hugs hun xx x x x

Gosh jeepers your so strong Cupid. You withstand so much and keep going I think your amazing maybe try some protein shakes made up with water rather than milk as dairy can flare up gall bladder pain and maybe some lacto free cheese. If you can get enough shake down in a day it should help kick start things again for you!
Well done on the 1lb x x x

Ok was back at the docs this afternoon and the result is intravenous vitamins at the hospital as he now thinks with the rapid change of colour and the burning that it's vitamin deficiency with my immune system attacking them before they can do me good. No gym or pool until my levels are back up as blood tests show rock bottom and a few days rest at hospital...that's a definite no not a chance.
I have to. Ring in the morning now for my gallbladder date so at least that won't be a lifetime away. Not best pic but this is why I can't eat or drink and can hardly talk. Hubby normally says whoopee but not today bless him.

You poor thing, you certainly have been through the mill there is nothing I can say to make you feel better. Is it just that your body isn't taking in the vitamins your taking ? Take care :)
