Just about recovered but work doesn't stop. This morning I went to my new wardrobe to take out a summer dress and ended up in tears. Every one of my new clothes and some newish were covered in mould. The beautiful things my boy had bought me too. Now my wardrobe is new as is my room with no damp anywhere. I haven't been in it for about a week with all the stuff I have been doing so wore housework clothes. I just didn't understand. I looked at my hubbie (it's his birthday) and just burst into tears. He told me to clear it out put everything on my bed and go from there. I then sprayed white vinigar and water on all the woodwork and allowed it to dry before a bleach solution. We went through all my stuff and found the culprit. A dress that I had bought on eBay with the tags still on. It was the tag itself at fault, it had mould all over it and now everything has to be dealt with so town in the morning for borax and more White vinegar. I hope everyone else had a better day xxx

OMG sweetheart that is heart breaking.... hope you manage to rescue them.... I know mould not the easiest thing to tackle.... I always keep one of those £1 shop de humidifiers in mine just in case.... living in Cornwall with granite walls its a common problem.... keeping my fingers crossed for you x x x x
 
I hope it's worked everything that could be cleaned at home is done it's costing me £38.70 for the rest to be dry streamed then cleaned. I'm absolutely exhausted. It was made worse by my inconsiderate neighbour who thought it cleaver to firstly have his grandchildren fire water cannons at my washing then having been told about that an hour later lit a barbi I was blazing and had it not been for my hubby grabbing hold of me I would quite cheerfully throttled him. Still not all dry after re washing then a day ironing tomorrow. I now need another wardrobe because I can then separate everything. Thanks ladies. X
 
Another busy day for you, thats the only trouble with this weather the Barbi goes on.
Stinks of smoke around here, but having said that someone set some tyres alight near Kirton School, could be that.

Hi all...well today my package from China arrived and felt like it was a plate. By this I mean not quite bowl shaped and felt as hard as porcelain and the size of a dinner plate. However I was not to be put off because I had sat in anticipated excitement waiting for the auction to finish exactly a week ago today thinking if its meant to be then it will be mine. A whole 99p with free delivery from China well how could I resist? Bang the hammer went down at not a penny more. Now I have heard of this before but had never actually seen one except by picture until today. I opened it up and I didn't expect to see what looked like an oversized cornflake. They had used some kind of shrink machine like those used for storing bedding ect that you put the Hoover into. (Mind is starting to wonder and I'm bordering on the insane thinking how marvellous it would be to use such for weight loss) ok so back to my package in its not so attractive shape (hubby thought it a frizby) a body on dress. I can't make up my mind if I like it or not and after a few shakes it still looked impossible to get into as its looking like a generous size six so I bit the bullet and gave it a shot telling my daughter to be ready with the tin opener! I don't know if I like it but at 99p it kept my mind busy for a short while "little things please little minds" here how it looks on. A size 16/18 my smallest size yet but think that's being kind :) happy Thursday everyone xxx

I really like it, and you have lost more weight since your hols you are looking good Mrs.

I know this should be the other way round lol, but you are looking so much like your daughter.

not sure why but my legs seem longer but my trousers say shorter and my daughter takes after me with her legs too...good job really because I swear my hubby played for subuteo looking at his lol. Xxx xxx
