Can you not have mince or scrambled egg. Also I think I mentioned this to you but if you chew, chew, chew soft food it becomes purée in your mouth probably not the correct thing to do, but I'll admit to doing this ( only with soft foods though!) xx
More ideas.. Refried beans with a little pureed mild veg chili and guacamole on the side. Chickpea pate ( if not hummus), tzatziki blitzed till smooth... Etc
Hi Aud, mince and scrambled eggs are only recommended on soft food from week 4. I am really really tempted though! xxx

I read scrambled were usually harder tHan poached at first...
Porridge is a good one...
I blended up beans and mini sausages....i blended cotage pie...i cant remember what else but it will be on my diary.. I had 3 weeks of it i remember that...
I struggled with purée the feel of it on my mouth made me feel sick so I just skipped to chewing. Chicken, Melba toast, pate, boiled egg all mashed up, chopped potatoe and veg this was much better for me, obviously tiny amounts I'm 9 weeks post sleeve and can still only manage half an egg or a third of a danio yoghurt
Hope you find some food you both like and enjoy
Kim x
Thanks Kim, 9 weeks, how you doing? xxx
Wow Kim that's great weight loss - you've got this weight thing kicked ! It's always reassuring to read of success for those further out as it makes you hope you can follow their path. I've had my follow up come through for August so I can't knock Walsall - they have done what they said when they said they would! Did you find the food stage more difficult than fluids? I ask as I am over 400 cals a day already on day 8 liquids. With my pint of milk, soup and two shakes I figure I am 800 or so a day. I am fine with that but 400 will mean some big cuts !!!! Ha Glad you've been able to get the leave you need to be sure you're really well enough for that environment when you go back. Retiring meant that wasn't an issue for me but I am really pleased it's ok in your world. That said I am working next week for a day only to deliver a training package so let's see how that exhausts me! Take care Kim. Thank you for all the support and kind messages. x
