Thanks Salliebeth. I'm not feeling too well on the pre-op diet due to my digestive system not playing ball so just want it over with! X

Last sleep before I set off to hosp in the morning...to say I have butterflies is an understatement...and the term "sleep" is used v loosely ill be tossing & turning all night! Gonna distract myself with some before & after pics!!

Good luck everyone having surgery this week. Just remember to give yourself time to recover.

Also I'm BORED of sipping water/fluid.

Nicola yeah the time does go surprisingly quickly. When you arrive you get your pre op bloods taken and then you are brought to your room and the nurse admits you. You will see both your surgeon and the anaesthetist. Take a magazine with you. I also listened to music on my phone via headphones. Just before you go to theatre you change into a theatre gown, TED stockings and put your dressing gown and slippers on then they walk you down. I have not regret either once. Wish I had done it years ago. Plus I had no real pain or sickness when I went back to ward. Good luck 2mara and keep me posted on your progress. Xx

Good luck to everyone having their surgery today will definitely be thinking of you all.

Half an hr til im taken to theatre... not as much of a basket case as I thought id be. Will msg later when im feeling human. Good luck to everyone else x
