January 2014 surgeries

It is normal and first poo can be hard then followed by very soft as first foods rush through but fluids are important keep sipping away

No hint yet. I've also stopped going for wee wees so often. It's nice not having to get up in the night which I've done since early pregnancy. That's a result!!!

I need to drink a little more but find this all such an effort ;-)

You will be retaining fluid and also drip bags are high in calorie it will all make a difference early on. Hey if ya can't feel sorry for yourself going thru this then when can ya. Be strong good things come and all that xxx

Ah ok, I was on drip bags for 3 days, that would do it!!

Hope you feel better soon!!! It will all be worth it!! I am 16 days post sleeve and am generally feeling good!! Although still finding it hard to get enough fluids in, but it does get easier day by day!!!!
I didn't have a shower for 2 days - I usually have at least 1 a day, and could only be bothered to wipe a wet flannel over my face - not even a wash!!!! Eeeerrrrr dirty madam!!! But once I felt a bit brighter I soon restored myself to normal, now showering every day, make up on and hair straightened!!! Give yourself time to recover!!! Xxxx

how bizarre I'm the same today haven't been to the toilet nearly as much but I thought I had actually drank more today. Nearly got to pint and half!!!!

Hi Nicola sorry your not feeling to good at the moment but it will pass. Try to get some sleep and you will feel much better In the morning. Keep your chin up

Yeah its agony guys n ive just heard the other bander next door tell the surgeon she feels fab and he said oh u can just tell the 1s who will...so now im lying here in loads of pain feeling like a right woos!! (Sp?!)

Hope your feeling a bit brighter today??!!! From reading on here people have very different experiences!!! Tell them you are in pain and want some pain relief and ask them to check your wound and change the dressing!!! (I'm a nurse and would definitely want to see what is going on under that dressing - it is proberbly dried blood from the op, but get them to check!!). I am sure you will begging to feel better when they get on top of your pain, you will then begin to feel more human!!!! Good luck xxx
