Hi there,
I just had my band done on Tuesday (1st July) at THG Dolan Park with Martin Richardson.
All went very well. Am in recovery at the moment. No pain in stomach but bad wind and pain in chest due to gas.
Experience was very smooth in general and was looked after although I was suprised how early I was discharged! 7am the next morning! Could have done with another few hours being looked after as my blood pressure was low and breathing still not great.
I am struggling a bit to navigate and use this site, it isn't the most user friendly and this is the second time I have logged on.
Good Luck with your pre op diet your op will come around quickly!

That means you're on the road to recovery and you should sleep better in your own bed than in a hospital bed. Best of luck with your recovery and with the 'loser's club'.

So here I am sat in the waiting ward, not nervous at all. I'm excited and content!! In fact it's feels too good to be true and I feel so amazingly in control of my future, that it hasn't sunk in yet and I'm not sure it will until after my operation.

Op is in the afternoon. I've managed to nab a comfy reclining chair that the plug is broken. So I've just heard my neighbour is next for surgery so I'll steal hers!

Hi everything went great couldn't get any signal in hospital on my phone I am home now in a bit ov pain mostly just uncomftable And back really hurting :-( ...i am on liquids now for 4 weeks had some jelly and thin soup today kept it down so that's good just having my first cup ov tea
