Yes a family trip, only mum will be in surgery whilst they trundle over battlefields lol. I wouldn't have it any other way
. We leave at 3am . My op is Wednesday, back home Sunday. Am a bit tired, hopefully will get a good night sleep tomorrow night, hubby is sleeping, son on PC, dog farmed out, cases laying open, house looks like after a tornado. I may book into the Travelodge when I get back until someone sorts it out :8855: Other than that, bricking it.
Will check in when I can. Xxx

Yes I do get a pain in my chest area but think its just the fluids going in, it passes then it's fine. I am finding that the hardest part to be honest, getting used to all the strange feelings and noises. They are so strange. My wounds have been fine and are almost completely healed. I am trying to increase protein intake to ensure the insides are healing just as well. How about you? Please keep persevering with the fluids, it will get better.

Thanks guys, I really couldn't process it, really feeling dawn. No they only said there were an emergency and that wouldn't be beds available for me. I have to wait for contact with a new date. Still waiting and have to continue with the diet as they dont know when I will be schedulled.

. Well I am here in the hotel. Journey turned out longer than expected, only 3 hrs sleep 2 nights ago so feel a bit crappy. Ankles swollen so going to eat then get the weight off.

Thank you all sooo much. I am sitting here in this ex jail awating my surgeon's practice manager and ultimately my fate. The support from you all here is absolutely fantastic for which I am so humbled. My stomach has turned to molten lava but you are like a cooling breEze on the embers .

Thanks jackie. I am trying honest but it's quite hard and its not helped by the fact that on day 3 post op I now weigh 1 kg more than I did on the day of my op? How is this possible and when did you start losing weight? I feel a great deal of discomfort on my insides which comes and goes. When would I be able to resume with every day activities and when did you start feeling normal? Sorry for the rant and I hope you can give me some info from experience as you seem to be doing so well. Xxx
