Op on Monday but they have told me they won't do it if I get a cold or cough, now panicking don't want to leave the house lol. Hubby works away & due home on Friday can't wait to see him but he has told me he has a cold grrrr he will be sleeping in the garden. Thought about getting First Defence nose spray x

I can see why they would not operate. If i had a cough right now, i would be at my wits end, as even clearing my throat causes my port area to twinge.
I only thought to myself this morning, how bad would i be if i had a cold.

Coughing after surgery would be a nightmare!

Get yourself all dosed up!

Sorry if ive worried you at all but im fresh out of surgery and coughing is really hard.

Dose up on zinc and vitamin C.

I've just had POSE done with a nasty cough and cold and worried sick that they wouldn't do it but because I had no temp, and my white cell count was good. they went ahead.

However, I don't have any incisions or a port to worry about, so just dose yourself up and fingers and toes crossed.
