My Bypass story .... I'm getting married !!!!

Right, I'm starting to panic a bit now, I go on holiday on Saturday my first holiday with Col and I'm really looking forward to it but ......

I'm worried that I will still need a seatbelt extension on the plane ..... last year I did but since then I have lost over 5 stone. I'm now wearing size 22 clothes, do you think I will still need one or not??

I am a szie 22 and was panicing for ages about needing one. I flew to America on Friday and there was lots of room left. The only pain is i have big hips and the arm rests get in the way a bit but you can lift them up so they wont bother you.

When i came from australia last november, i was a size 24/26 and didn't need an extension. So i think you'll be fine.

What airline are you flying with?

i was about 22 when i went to america in july and the belt done up under my belly so you should be fine..
i am off for xmas to canaries we are going to tenerife and i booked it so wouldnt have to go on dos e.t.c

I have flown twice recently and as I got on the plane I asked the stewardess for a belt. I did need it both times but I didn't feel uncomfortable or embarrassed. Nobody took any notice.

I will continue to ask for one until I find I no longer need one

You shouldnt have a problem, I went to Paris in August on a "dinky" plane and the seat belt fit but a little tight, but the arm rest did dig in a little but I could lift it. I am 18stone 10 and size 24. I am going to Florida for christmas and my husband new how I felt about the seats so we have paid extra for better seats.

Congratulations on your weight loss its fantastic. Im sure you will be absolutely fine on the plane I was a size 24 when I went to Eygpt in Feb and it was tight but ok.

Well only 2 days then I'm off to sunnier climes!! Fed up of this rain!

Noticed in last couple of weeks my hair is coming out loads now, I've been taking the selenium and zinc for a while now but doesn't seem to be making any difference!

Oh well hopefully it will rectify itself soon
