Glad you're feeling a bit stronger today - we alll need to hear from you hun, DEF!!!
I love a peaceful bath....
I have been on my own for 5yrs, well 4, split up with violent drunk ex, spent year on my own then had a toboy who ended up stalking me and being an absolute tosser, and I've not indulged since piling on the lbs so maybe I may get a date or 2 this summer xxxx
I'm happy on my own finding myself all over again hun, always remember that there's still plenty of Bridgets left me inc!!!

xxx

Nice hot bath always cheers me up! My favourite shop in the whole worls is LUSH becuase, they dont sell clothes I cant fit, the dont sell boots that wont do up, they dont seel cream cakes that make me feel great when I'm eating and awful afterwards. They sell, Bath and shower stuff and it all smells... Lush lol! So bathing quickly became my favourite thing, even better when you take a book and lock the door behind you - until the kids are screaming at the door "I need a pee mum"
Glad to hear you are doing a little better today, it will all be well worth it when you jump on those scales :D Any news about a new place yet? Councils can be very slow when they want to :( Have you tried housing associations?

I don't normally do bathes because it's hard getting in and out of the tub but I've lost enough now to be able to get out with no worries:)!!!!! It was LOVELY:) Used my avon bubbles I bought at Christmas (because they were cheap lol). I don't usually go in Lush as I never make it to the mall which is where Lush is here. However there is a Body Shop really close:) A friend of mine bought me body butter from there for Christmas and it is heaven in a jar:)
No there is still no news about a place...they are apparently suppose to send me a code number so I can bid on places but I haven't received that yet either:( Housing associations??? Apologises for my ignorance here but I am from America and have never had to deal with any of this stuff so it's all new to me...lol In america I would just go look at places and then if I liked one just pay the rent and deposit and it would be mine. It's much more complicated here. lol
Lots of love

I like the smells coming from Lush shops; unfortunately I have sensitive skin and can't cope with any smellies in my bath or shower. I just use Simple cream bath and E45 bath oil...not very romantic I agree but it keeps my skin nice and eczema free.

Ahh I see, the program where you will be sent a code, likely the website that list homes to bid on will also include housing associations, sometimes if you apply to just the local council they will just take your application themselves, this new scheme with bidding on houses is a lot more beneficial, it allows housing associations to advertise as well and lets you just apply for the places that you are interested in, so its the best way to go. I would give them a call if you don't receive your code shortly though, they should be giving some kind of priority for relationship breakdowns as clearly its not a good situation to be living in at present.

Hehe healthy eczema free skin is much more important in the grand scheme of things! you should put on a nice scented candle when you have a bath :D

I love scented candles. I bought one at Christmas (I'm a nut for Christmas if nobody guessed lol) that changes colours. It's very soothing and relaxing.
I tried something new today. After feeling really sick after eating anything for the last few weeks. I have discovered that my protein intake is severely lacking. So today I shopped for some high protein foods and had a high protein dinner. I didn't feel sick at all afterwards. I also had a bit of milk which til today I couldn't drink at all. So maybe it is the protein levels that was bothering me. Though if I hadn't read it on the forum I would have had no idea I am suppose to be consuming 70g a day. I think that should have been something my doctor told me from the beginning. I have only been consuming around 10-15g a day, if that:(
If I don't receive anything from the council this week I will call them on Monday and see whats happening.
Lots of love

One of the best tips I have found today is the protein milkshakes, if you get a big tub of it in Vanilla and then use it as a coffee whitener (assuming you drink coffee?) You can up your protein and have a nice Vanilla latte type coffee all in one go :D
The whole protein thing is debatable between surgeons, some say its hugely important and others think a well balanced diet is important regardless of protein... So maybe your surgeon is a "well balanced" type :)
I love Christmas too, Christmas scented air fresheners and candles are my fav lol I love cinnamon scents, christmas itself doesnt excite me so much now I'm a little older, but I do get excited for my kids, my middle son's birthday is Christmas day so its always a big deal in my house.

Hope the extra protein keeps helping, more energy will soon have you feeling better and ready to conquer the world :D

I don't know about the protein powder...it's really expensive. I need to get some to make protein bars but I doubt being able to tolerate a milkshake with it (sweet things make me feel very nauseaous). I will keep looking for it though will eventually find one that doesn't cost the farm lol
I have always been a Christmas fanatic. I drive my family crazy lol. Though tbh the last couple of years I haven't really been into it at all. Still I think this year will definitely be better:)
I had an egg this morning with some shredded gammon and a laughing cow cheese triangle...was heaven and I feel fine....still no nausea. I got alot of high protein items yesterday so hopefully these will help lots.
My husband has put a new scare in my head....when I get to my goal weight (which is lower than I have posted here I want to be 110-120) how do I stop losing weight??? I know this is something I should already know but just never thought about it until he said he thinks by Christmas I will be so ill from losing weight I won't be able to stand...omg!!!
Anyhow I'm going to research whether that is even a possibilty. Have a wonderful day:)
love you lots

A lot of people have said to me that they use powdered milk to get there protein up they put it in everything they can get away with lol anything creamy of milky even adding it to milk to make more protein xxx

As toni said, milk powder and marvel are often used as subs as they add extra protein, some people even add milk power to milk to make double milk? I think... There are a few options anyway!

Don't worry too much yet about maintaining, your weightloss will eventually slow down and I think a few people slowly begin to sip a little water with meals around the 1 year stage to eat a little bit more and be able to maintain. Your pouch will have stretched slightly by then too :)
I'm sure not an expert in any of this but I do like to read lots of threads haha

Good to see you feeling happier hun ((((hug))).
I love the lush stuff and intend to go down to their shop and not just buy on line, i am a scent addict lol.

I have marvel milk powder but I have so much trouble with milk these days I don't use it very often...probably will use it more when I'm out of the pureed stage. I'm not going to worry too much really as long as I am getting protein in and feel alright and the consultant keeps saying I'm alright thats all that matters to me.
I just read about stopping the weight lose and I literally do only have to consume 200 calories more a day...that shouldn't be too hard.
A friend of mine loves lush and I used to think the stuff she bought smelled good enough to eat lol but now (sadly sweet smells make me feel as sick as actually eating something sweet lol). I may well go get some body butter from the body shop though:)
How are all of you doing today?
Lots of love

Aw bless ya hun I do like lush but I prefer the yorkshire soap shop they make gorgeous little cup cake bath bomb and truffles they don't smell sweet just smell pretty my friend got me some for Christmas I'm going to save them for after the op (when I can fit in the bath better :'( lol ) when you can have milk put the powder in as many things as poss xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I'm looking for something in pink grapefruit scent. Have you seen that anywhere? Or my favorite...nutmeg.

Morning hun
Try Amazon, they have loads on there and really reasonably priced - I had no idea that a Jo Malone bloody candle was £38 for the cheapest!!!!! Thats ridiculous :) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
