Hi suzie, well I found its got easier I still have the odd hiccup if I eat too quickly but its heaven not to be controlled by food all the time.

How are you? Sorry that I've not been online. I was away on a firewalking course, which was fabntastic. Your weight loss is fantastic! Are you sure that you haven't had the op already? I hope the appintment goes well.

well just spent the day at the hospital taking tons of more tests and my surgeon was in surgery so no official date yet. the nurse says it may be 6 weeks ooohh. she is gonna call me with date and to start pre op diet. it consists of 899 calories a day of soup , jelly. milk and yougurt but no yougurt for me but an ice lollie instead. its so hard keeping this 20 lbs off till surgery as i am in a wheel chair . i am slowly gaining in back. sniff sniff i just read the article that carnie wilson gained her weight back after her gastric bypass of 8 years. wow

lol thank you susie! dramatic weight loss recipie this week was down to having a down right horrible sore throat and temperature so I might gain a little bit back! If you want to chat offline then feel free to add me its [email protected], dont be disheartened you are still doing wonderful and not long now till that weight comes off and stops off!! where is that article about the lady that put all her weight back on? would really like to read it xx

Hi susie, got the email and had a read, WOW a bit more research and I came up with a couple more sites where folks have had the same problems as her and wrote about it. I was aware of a small proportion of bypassers regaining their weight or a significant part of it, but it seems that there may be more than I was previously aware of!

glad you got it caroline, followed that thread and read your thoughts, if you look i DO know someone whose had the bypass in 2000 and she still looks great and is a skinny minnie!!! susie

well got another appointment on wednesday, dont have a clue what this one is about as i've been through every sticken test already and poked and prodded everywhere already. i hope my tests last week came out fine and its not bad news.
