Im more worried about people seeing me than what they say. I live in Leigh Park and the Boots in Park Parade is closest to me. If you know of the area you may know what kind of people live here? I cant walk through there without being verbally abused
Ive been going by the scales at the hospital on the 2 times ive been weighed since the start of my journey. Im not usually bothered about weighing myself but since reading such amazing stories I just wanna know!
Yeah know it well from when I was younger, my mum and nan dragged me round the shops there many , many times. Last time I was there was about two years ago when I went to bingo with my mum. I'm in Widley so not far. Stuff what people say! They ain't going to be able to do that for much longer!! X

just go boots flick i go to mine when im not due to be weighed at weight management dont worry what people say if they yell abuse hold your head high you know what you have had done and what you will achieve just let them live their sad sorry lives be proud of who you are

Blimey, they're close to Christmas. Thats either really good or really bad? We put our tree up yesterday but not turned on the lights yet. Still got the ceiling lights to do but that can wait til my hubby has another day off of work!
My neighbour just let me use his wii fit to weigh myself on because he knew how upset I was. Ive lost 26lbs since the start of the pre op - 29th Oct!

wow well done see you was worrying for nothing it might not show body wise yet but a loss is a loss even if its not showing wait til next month when it starts to show so pleased for you

On my face & fingers so far definitely nowhere else yet! My BMI has gone from 52 to 48 which is also very good I'd love to be able to lose another stone by Christmas. Considering I found it near impossible to lose pre op, for me, thats amazing! Yay!

Blood hell flick!!! That's brilliant!!!! Now stop bloody worrying your doing just a well as everyone else! You should be very proud of yourself! That's put a smile on my face this morning as I'm sure it did for you. As for the Christmas tree it's white, gold and brown. It's colour coordinated with the front room (drive hubby mad) only I slip up spilt so juice on the extension lead so can't have lights turned on till it dries out or I replace it. Kids loved doing it! X
Its a case of having to be organised this year Kimberley! Hubby isn't the best at dotting stuff bless him. He's being made redundant the day before my op! So he's got a lot on his plate. Still no reason not to look after me for a while ( god help me) he's going to try freelance beginning of next year, it will be a lot more money but no real security .He had been think about it anyway so maybe it was meant to be? Not going to worry yet about it!
