November 2013 Surgeries

That half a weetabix Iv got my old glasses on lol

Wow! Thats alot of eating & drinking. To manage that id need to be force fed, seriously! I will try my best though.

Apologies, im always moaning :( Dont have anyone to speak to about this other than you guys. Thank you for supporting me and putting up with me :)

I dont think I look as pregnant as I did before lol probably about 6 months instead of 8 lol my top tummy has started to deflate and my poor boobs have shrunk :( face and fingers are slimmer too. Not by very much but a little bit. Cant wait to shift my huge hips and ass lol hubby wont be very happy but oh well :p

My lot said 10-14 days but check with insurer.

I read my insurance details cover to cover and it didnt mention anything about surgery unless it was due to a car accident. I drove 2 weeks out. First time the vibrations felt very strange, gave me bubbles in my tummy but its fine now. Ive driven everyday since.

I am 2 weeks post op today and tbh I don't feel like I've had anything done (apart from the eating side of it) been back to work 8 days ago :)

Amazing :) Im 3 weeks and was dancing around the kitchen with hubby like a loony the other day! No harm done lol The only thing that still hurts is the bruises from the clexane jabs. Im still purple, red, yellow, blue and green and they're still tender to touch!
My incisions have healed completely and are now uncovered. They are pretty and punk! I have a rainbow tummy :) lol

Ok so today is the start of round 2. First pint gone! Still a bit snotty but that's me in winter. Anyway I'm going to declare myself an honorary member of the Nov group if that's ok? This is where I started and where I want to stay! Here goes:0

glad to see so many post op people doing well keep up the fantastic work and good luck audra with the milk again hope it all works out for you this time round

Just going to bed have the inevitable migraine (same ad last time.) Otherwise ok. Have to say I have been wanting to eat today which I didn't have at all last time. Hopefully I'll have my head in the game tomorrow! Onwards and downwards. 12 days and counting! X did you see the dr?

I remember that! Hope it eases xx

Audra, you are a november buddy :) and here is where you belong! It sucks about the migraine, did you get those first time around?

I managed a little more food today but not much liquid :( I had a mini fromage frais around 1ish, 2 chicken nuggets over an hour around 3, 4:30 had the meat from a chicken thigh (no skin) and then had a slice of salt and pepper pork for dinner at 6:30. Have had 1 cup of coffee and once glass of nas squash all day. Got a very bad headache because im dehydrated. Been busy doing stuff, just stuff all day :( I can sleep for England and have trouble waking up in the morning so never have time to eat. Its a mad rush getting my son to nursery before 12pm! Breakfast doesnt exist. Lunch is if im not busy doing something else and dinner is whatever I can find in the fridge :(

Ive just spent 6 hours making little stockings for my friends children. Im still not done x

Yeah was the same last time (with the headache) I've had my codeine and patch and not too bad now. It is really difficult when you have young children around, nothing runs to time but this is such an important time to ingrain a new routine. You have to make time for breakfast. Set your alarm 15 mins earlier and make the first thing you do to eat a couple of spoons of porridge or weetabix etc. then have a drink a little later on the run if necessary . It's not because you want it but because you need it! It is hard but crack it now and your do it forever. Remember this is your time to succeed but as you know changes have to be made to increase that success. You can definitely do it. You've done so much already. X

Is that just through lack of food? Well no food! My Mum suffers the shakes, headaches, dizzyness etc if she doesnt eat! I wondered why I didnt get that? What is your patch for?

Oh its so hard to fit eating in! I bought a 500ml sports bottle the other day with the intention to drink 4 refils a day. I still havent finished the drink that was originally in there. I will do my best to have breakfast tomorrow morning. The hardest thing is having food then having to wait half hour before drinking or vice versa. Its difficult with a demanding toddler too. He constantly needs something. I dont get time to sit down for a meal, especially eating it slowly taking half hour or so. Its always a rush! Easier not to bother :(

flick audra is right make time for breakfast if you can not only is it important but you will find it gives you that extra bit of energy i used to skip it and lunch was a 1 meal a day person now i have the 3 and feel better for it lot more get up and go if i could that is but please do try <3

The patch is for my migraine. I've woken up and it's still here. :( it will pass. There's no denying toddler boys take every minute of your day. Luke is 11 and he still takes up twice as much time as Ems! But you must make time to eat. It's what your body must have! Think of it as you life depends on it. Set your son up with and activity near you and his breakfast, lunch or dinner then make time. Nothing is as important as that meal for that 30 mins ( other than your sons safety of course) I know I'm going to find breakfast hard with our mad house in a morning but I've made myself a promise and I will keep it. Good luck this morning. It don't have to be much just something. By the way you can through all this back at me when I'm post op! X

Still struggling to eat often. Had dairylea triangles and cod in sauce for tea. Managed 2/3 of a portion, spent about 30 minutes chewing each bit about 15/20 times. Still drinking plenty though :)

How's the head? X

At least your getting something in and the fluid is great. Heads still here today. I get migraines anyway so I knew it would come. Should be fine by tomorrow. Have a good day today and keep up the good work! X

Right, im up! Before having a shower and getting dressed like I usually do im going downstairs in my jammies to get food!! Cant believe I just said that :/ Feeling nervous :( Eating in the morning makes me feel sick! *gulp* here goes! XD x
