November 2013 Surgeries

I dropped into the teens (19st 13) on this weeks weigh in thats 2st 6lbs lost in 4 weeks :D
 
Right, im up! Before having a shower and getting dressed like I usually do im going downstairs in my jammies to get food!! Cant believe I just said that :/ Feeling nervous :( Eating in the morning makes me feel sick! *gulp* here goes! XD x

Well done flick to for the food don't let it get the upper hand . Butterfly that's amazing loss . Audra you great not long and your be skipping your self around top shop saying if I want to I could because they will fit .x

Well took an hour to have half a wheetabix & cup of coffee now we're in a rush to get out the door. My son & I arent ready at all and we need to leave in 10 mins :( This is why I dont bother. More bother than its worth! Oh man, this whole eating malarky is harder now than pre op lol I need to hirer wallace & gromit to invent me a brekkie system like the one they have! Id be sorted! :p
 
well done on brekkie flick it will get easier to manage mornings just have to make sure you have something every morning we are all here for you
 
To me, dumping is like a panic attack. It comes on very quick, I tremble, feel faint and breathless, get very hot and had to run to the loo! It settles and then I feel freezing cold and shaky and weak for about 30 mins after. It's truly lovely! Lol x

I had my band three days ago and I had a bit of that this morning, tho I've not eaten. I just had water but took my meds, I'd had some soup yesterday and a Yakut, I was so bloated. I felt like I'd eaten a cow! I'm wondering if I what I had yesterday and just mama end to move down?!

Thank you :) I need to carry on. Mum echoed everything you guys are saying. Eat more, burn more. So I am guna try. I dont wanna be a WLS failure! She could see a difference on my waist which made me smile, just need it to continue now.

How are you coping today?
 
I know it's hard To get breakfast down flick, I couldn't eat anything for about an hour after I'd woken up in the morning, but if I have a cup of tea before I eat, I then don't eat most of the day..

It's hard but if you stick to getting up in plenty of time, and giving yourself time you will eventually be able to stomach it.. I now manage something after about 30 mins, it makes me feel a lot better than I did before hand! Just remember, not eating and starving your body from what it needs isn't the way to lose weight! Hope you get sorted soon love xx

Keep going. Your doing well its hard but your doing it! Much better today. Getting my head round it again. X
 
flick even if its just a spoon of cereal it all counts and you will probably find you have more energy also after a few days hope the heads better audra migraines suck im a sufferer myself
 
Go for it flick write a plan for the day what time you going to drink and eat write it down . I find it's the only way I can get the fluids and food in,
Here's mine if helpful
Wale up tea a mug half a pint but I only manage 250mls
Breakfast 8 weetabix ready break
Between 9 and 1030 half a mug squash in a drinks bottle sipping all the time (why have I got a wee infection)


1040 yogurt , milk shake
1120 hot chocolate with option in a tall insulated cup .

1200 squash half mug to 1230 the stop
1300 lunch puréed Shepard pie chicken caserole protein about half a ramekin ATM
1400 half mug squash
1500 milk shake half mug or hot coffee
1600 squash sipping all the time
1640 stop
1700 dinner boil in the bag fish I'm loving these and their cheep in Iceland ,
1800 tea coffee and squash
1900 yogurt
2000squash all the time
About bed time I take up a hot milky drink in an insulated cup and watch tv drinking .
I have a water bottle filled up by my bed for the middle of the night.
I'm finding I have to plan what I'm going to eat that day taking thing out of the freezer , ian never hungry and I don't like eating but I make my self eat .

I found this really helpful as I was struggling to fit things in, once I wrote it out with times it seemed much easier, now I am going to set alarms on my phone to remind me!

I have that app but haven't used it yet, I really should though. I am so thirsty and dying to gulp down a big drink!!
