Hi princess, if your worried contact your dietician and discuss it with them. You have to be positive going into surgery even if your scared. Kimberley is so right. After surgery you have to push yourself to get up and walk with lots of rest in between. We are all in this together! X
the walking is fine i understand that just wont leave the house as i know if i do i will overdo things like i try to do now with very limited mobility then suffer for a week in agony so i figure just walk about indoors cant gwet in trouble that way
I'm staying at my mums after I've had my op, mainly to minimise the times I will need to climb the stairs to my flat - there's around 35 steps! And mum has a bungalow. It's also so I can be looked after as I won't be good on my own for a few days, Atleast from my point of view I won't be! But I can walk around the house and when I'm feeling a bit better and up to it - up and down the road or to the park and back (not even a 15 second walk) without looking like a lune! Xx

That's great, no one should be on their own after surgery! Glad you have someone to care for you afterwards. My mum will be coming over everyday to make sure Jason and the kids are pulling their weight and not driving me mad! C
