Glad to hear you're on the mend Fee. Onwards and upwards pet. X
Well I feel like I'm finally turning a corner today. Feeling really good. A few people have said they have noticed I've lost weight. Went to Asda and tried a top on a it fits! Will be so nice not having to go to one or two shops. Made a slow cooked beef stew yesterday and had some with mash and a Brussels sprout was yum! Anybody else go to the support group in Derby? I think there's one on Wednesday and think I'm gonna go x
Hope you feel better cat? I started back at work today went ok, didn't get a break as usual so didn't eat anything all day till 4pm, I leave at 5.45am, so can't face getting up an hour early to take lanzoprazol before I eat breakfast!. I have started soft/ crunchy, I'm having the opposite to you fee, I can't seem to fit in more than a few teaspoons! Only lost 2 lbs last week and dietician says prob not eating enough, but I genuinely am struggling to get any decent volume in!
Hope u feeling better today. I cooked a spag bol last night with quorn mince. Had a tiny plate. Was bloody lush! Didn't feel full tho? X
When I had my band I couldn't eat bread, pasta or rice and I got used to it xI'm hoping I won't be able to eat bread, pasta or potato after my band. It would so help keeping the weight off. X
Fee this is normal. Stick to your portion sizes as you are still healing inside yet hence why you are on the soft stage. While on softs things more often than not they just slide through also the nerves in the pouch havent yet fully healed so you probably wont get that full feeling for a few weeks yet. I was about six weeks in and there was no mistaking it.
Your weight loss will slow down a little now as your body readjusts itself to the new regime. Dont be surprised if it stops for a little bit (stall) especially when you start reintroducing solid food. Its annoying but i have now come to accept them as being all part of the process xx

I'm a bit concerned as I can manage a small tea plate size of dinner. Soft foods only but I don't get a feeling of fullness. I don't feel hungry either but it feel like I could eat more if i wanted to. My weight doesn't seem to of gone down this last week either. Although my clothes feel a lot looser. Cat the group is 7 till 9 2morrro eve I'm going x
Fee I wasn't loosing weight and I've up'd my water and it's now coming off me. I'm the opposite, I feel like I have too much restriction and it appears worse now it's dropped colder (coincidence?) I couldn't even eat my ready brek this morn, although did manage soup at lunch.
