You know the times when you wonder how much more you can cope with ? Yep that's right now .
So tired this morning , dint get to bad till 4.30 am & up at 10.30 , not that I slept a great deal . Really really could do with not having to go to work this afternoon
Think I will be straight in bed as soon as I get home , yawn

Charlii took an overdose & I was in a& e with her :'(
Not sure how tomorrow is going to pan out , we have so see some youth specialist cos of above & need to see mum & dad as their anniversary .I'll call you in the morning if that's ok xx

thanks Yve , luckily i didnt have much in the house , so it was 9 paracetamol & 2 brufen , so no lasting damage done , but even so a worry & a trip to A&E , more to put the wind up her .
she admits it was silly & she is very sorry

Yes its a combination of stuff , she seems to be the sounding board for a couple of friends who are having problems , but feels they don't listen to her when she needs , issues with a teacher who has destroyed her dream of being an actress , worried about me , plus she still blames herself for my splitting with her dad , although it was nothing to so with her .
Top that with a trivial argument with me , she went to take some paracetamol for a headache & carried on , hoping it would help her sleep as she isn't sleeping well atm .
She told me straight away but initially wouldn't go to hospital , but nhs direct sent an ambulance .

Here's hoping the NHS will be able to provide some counselling or someone for her to talk to at least. Are you okay? I would be terribly shaken in your position - you are dealing with it very well.

I'm ok thanks Clare , in fact being at work is keeping my mind off it . I think she & I will sleep well tonight.
Tomorrow we have the assessment & she says she is happy to talk to professional people . In fact I think it will do her good , she can tend to be old head on you shoulders , but at 16 its a lot to deal with .
I asked if she wanted me to cancel my op so as she had less to worry about but she categorically said no !!!
I do love her & she me , but she can be trying

Trust me - I totally sympathise....my daughter has been self-harming for the past 6months, its an emotional roller coaster, what with that and her being the brightest student in the year and now being almost a 'problem' student I often wonder where I went wrong???? The same as you hun - unconditional love means I will never ever ever give up on her! Hang in there and hugs to you both xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

You do your best but still you wonder what more you could do , what you did wrong etc.
Her friend came round this afternoon & they had a chat . The friend told her next time she feels she's not being listened to she has to say ....... shut up I need some one to talk to , some me time ..... thing is that friend would help her , the other one , who's problems are more trivial ie boys & how many she likes / like her , is immature & superficial & I don't know how supportive she will be !

Oh ditto hun - I never ever ever had a friend who wasnt a friend and even as an adult I have 3 x BFF's, 1 of which I tell everything the other 2 I am not as close to in the last couple of years but are still gr8 friends.
My daughters friends are that really, they're come and goes and yes many of them all pre-occupied with who said what abt them & boys and a fickle as hell! All you can do is be there hun and keep telling her that over and over - god bless xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I'm so sorry for what you all are going through. I'm having similar problems with my son. He's 13 and got into drugs with his cousin. He said he won't do it again, but its very difficult to trust him now.....

Kids really are a worry art they ?
Well things seem calm here & we are waiting to hear from the adolescent crisis team to say when they will come assess her . They said 11 am yesterday , but not where , that's what they need to confirm .

Thanks hunni , I did manage a nice bubble bath last night & have a few days off this week . Getting hair done tues & dietician thurs , so not too bad xx
