Suzie I might be wrong here but I think we keep taking the Bassetts chewy ones for a little while then we get, "fast tabs" that melt on your tongue on prescription for a little while then we start taking A-Z over the counter?
I'm sure they'll remind us!

Woohoo wencho not long to go at all hasn't it came around quick my day went great and stuck to plan apart from 1 tablespoon of stuffing and some gravy. Weighed myself this morning and i never put on any so I'm taking that as a good sign and I'm now the lowest I've been in over 2 years. This is the point where I normally start to struggle and put weight back on, I have lost around 5 lb this week on pre op diet got to go to my sisters who's putting on a spread today have to take my own food to stick to plan. Good luck everyone and only 2 more days wencho keep up the good work x x x

im in this arvo for blood thinning then bk in at half 7 in morn. god knows wen il b up for spkin but as soon as iam i will come on here and let u no how op went! hopefully strate forward and im hoping to be out thurs arvo rather than the Fri with me bein an early op....will def b asking!!! xxx

Good luck for tomorrow wencho now is the time for you, so just rest, rest and sip sip and hoping for a speedy recovery for you. Last christmas being big and what a great 2012 its going to be. X x x

I'm having my op done at rake lane general hospital in north Tyneside on 4th jan. I can't wait I'm on pre op diet now and so hungry, today is day 9 and def the worst so far with hunger pangs. X

Hi Louise I'm sure this diet is not that good on weight loss. I have lost 5lb in the first 5 days none since and just seem to be sticking I'm onto my 9th day. Most people from other hospitals seem to loose loads. I think if you were on a strict diet before starting your body is holding on to the lb. Just so hungry can't wait for op date now just to finish this stupid diet doesn't help my child is sitting next to me with a huge tin of heroes for days and I can smell the chocs lol. Hope your injection went well wencho and good luck for tomorrow x x x

injection went well i did it myself good prep lol. ward 7 was closed over xmas so had 2 go 2 ward 6 but i wil go 2 ward 7 2moro mornin.....louise i panicked thinking i hadnt lost then it all caught up with me and i lost 3.3kg (7.2lb) so im over the moon tht i managed half a stone.
just been makin sure i have all i need 2 go in with in morn and had shower and sorted hair so i jst need a quick shower in morning.
good luck with ur pre op diets and i will get on here as soon as i feel up 2 posting....i will be takin my fone and wil hve hosp tv/net so i shud b on2moro nyt or thurs morn xxx

goin good so far...the tiredness is unreal tho....just been walking to go loo n get jarmas on...they sed am makin quick progress most wait til day after to get changed lol. will be home tomorrow woo hoo!!! can't believe am done n tht am on here already haha xx

im happy as owt they even sed they've never met anyone who was excited for surgery b4 haha....reali expected nerves to kick in big still but didn't happen duno how.lol....ano its quick qm doin well....others tht r in havent moved or got changed but qv been to loo twice so qm happy to get around a bit....this will be yous this time next week yeeee haha lol xx
