Fantastic news congrats xx

Thanks everyone for your congratulations, it's so sweet of you all!!!

Well it's weigh in day today and as I said while I was away I managed to stay the same which I was pleased about because although I can't eat much, I was eating the wrong things and found I grazed more over there. Since getting back last Friday I have lost 1lb more, taking me to 15st8, that's 95lbs lost (eeeeek) or 6st11lbs however you look at it.

I have my appointment at the hospital in 2 weeks (yesterday) and I'd really like to lose 3lbs, in order to have hit my 7st lost in 8 months. That would be pretty exciting!!

Anyway, life is pretty hectic at the moment, my mum is moving house so we are there every spare minute decorating etc, birthday meals going on, extra work and all sorts of things. I need another holiday haha!! Have a good day everyone xx

Hey folks, well it's Wednesday so it's weigh in day and I have reached 7 stone lost!! I am 15lbs off target and weigh 15st5 or 215lbs in old money. Eeeeeeek I'm so excited about this, can you tell??

In other less good news, I spent last weekend in hospital with gall stones. Yup, they warned me it might happen (very common with this Surgery I gather) and it did. I was in the worst pain of my life, until the morphine kicked in, then I was kind of in a doped state which was somewhat enjoyable lol. Anyway, they want to take it out I think, got to have a surgical consultation. Yey more surgery, NOT. Anywho, it is what it is, just pleading with the powers above that in the meantime, the pain doesn't return!!

Off out for a leaving do now...have a pleasant evening xxx

Woweeeee well done Hun 7 stone is amazing!!! Boo about the gall stones but at least they are looking to get it sorted for u! X x

Thanks both, yeah the gall stones were horrific! I'll be interested to see what they suggest. I have been helping my mum move house today and kept getting twinges, very brief, of pain in my gall baldder. Oh nooooo, fingers crossed it doesn't turn into anything.

I have my (very late) 6 month post op appointment on Tuesday. I also start my new job on Monday. Lots going on, very exciting! Time for x factor and bed. I am SHATTERED! XXX

Just had my late 6 month post op appointment (at 8 months). Went really well, they're happy with me, said I looked great which is always nice to hear. She is going to call my doctor (he got called away last minute) and speak to him about 1. my dizzy spells and 2. my gall bladder removal. Apparently they like to do it themselves, I guess because it's so common with this surgery, they class it as a consequence and therefore like to treat it as post op aftercare?? That's my theory anyway :) Had lots of blood taken, I'm being tested for everything it would seem, you ought to have seen the list.

Anyway, it's my day off, the sun is shining and I'm going to go and sit in my garden with a nice cuppa. Later xx

aww glad everything went well for you! its nice of them to sort your gallbladder for you! i know my providers defs wouldnt bother lol so thats nice of them! x

I think the surgeons like to see things through - which is nice for continuity of care.

I had my 6 month check up today too! Already having investigations for gall stones so they won't deal with that now I dot think.. Hope they sort your dizziness out! Mine is due to not enough fluids. Xx
