Had a really bad day food wise yesterday did not matter what i had i couldnt eat much, a couple of nibbled spoonfulls and i fet full, and even threw up on one ocassion despite knowing i had not eaten for over 5 hours.

today i have been extremely tired, 2nd shift on days which are busy, and i tried a rasher of bacon for breakfast knowing i needed protien however as much as i wanted it i couldnt enjoy it, just did not sit right in my stomache.

However i went out and bought myself an itsu sashimi tray and managed 8 slices of it and a few mouthfuls of rocket salad and 2 soya beans!!! less then one hour later i am feeling more awake then i have all day!!!

Sushi rocks. It is healthy, packed with protein and good oils, and tastes gooooooood. My nearest sushi bar is miles away which makes me sad :(

Dont think we even have one in Stoke lol Never tried it dont no if I would want to lol

I like the sound of Sushi, But not yet tried it, I think next time i see some i'm gonna buy some to try.
Tendersage Glad your feeling better today, Just shows you what a little protien can do. x

Waitrose do yummy Sushi and in small packs too

I love sushi, cant get enough of it. The one thing that i worried about when i had my band fitted was that i wouldnt be able to eat it but luckily for me, at the moment i can.

richard what can i say it also just melted in my mouth, i was even able to bite small pieces off using chopsticks. I finished all 12 pieces of salmon/tuna over the afternoon and despite that i worked out i averaged 500 calories for the day

I cannot imagine never being able to eat sushi, and as its a verly low cal, low carb and high protien meal i think i am going to increase the frequency i have it.... poland street here i come

For all those who have not tried it, please do you wont regret it, its one of the nistest foods you can have, and well worth going out your way for

Might see if they have it in tesco Think its just that fact its raw fish Im the same with meat if its still pink I can not eat it

teen get the sashimi, that is sushi without the rice element :) which of course cuts down on the calories but also is a food to be avoided early post op

Supermarket sushi is no way near as good as the real thing! Extra-unfortunately for me my hubby is not a big fan, so I don't get to go very often. TS can I come live with you? It's culturally barren up here :(

chuckles shel come visit i have a great large sofabed and loads of great restaurants....

have amazing indian meal out last night only cost £30 for me and Jonah, 3 pompadoms, 2 dishes, a nan and a lassi each. Obviously i could only manage one pompadom, and a few spoonfuls of the main dish but it was amazing

£30  don't think I could afford to visit lol. We have a great local indian that does a low fat narugh ki yachni which is chicken with apricots and pineapple. Yum yum. Might need to start dropping hints to hubbs to take me to yo sushi.

Thats like £15 each I would be gutted if all I ate was a pompadom and a couple of spoons lol

chuckles teen i also aot some of the main dish and had some lassi, would have managed more if i had not eaten so much sashimi during the day. It was definately worth it, and £15 each for a meal out is not excessive in london

LOL RICHARD please please tell them good food is worth paying for.... *whispers poland street*
