Teresa's weekly thursday WI

Lost 0.7lb so half a lb bit disappointed yet again but I knew this would happen eventually.

Zumba still going well this week was my 5th week going and I'm finally starting to be able to bounce around and do some of the jumpy bits which for me is a big achievement I always try my best but can notice the difference.

Now 103.7kg and like 1lb off 100lb loss so annoying

You're doing great, an an ounce is nothing! Its even just a simple "loo visit" lol so yes, definitely something to celebrate! I think it can be quite hard when you have consistently good losses for it to suddenly slow and slope off, I found that my mind reverted to cheering myself up with a piece of fudge! lol

So its amazing and you're doing great - :)

Thank you I have to say I'm very proud of myself I love fudge but haven't touch any since op I think it's cos I've had some issues with sugar and dumping (cereals mainly and chic makes me feel sicky and bloated) but scared to have any but wish I could I love it :) and yeah an oz is an oz that'll be gone next week :) I did a loo visit and it didn't change booo

I think if we know what is coming our way and we are ok with those choices that is as positive as losing to be honest. Having those times where we can do/eat/drink etc and be relaxed in the approach!

Yeah I agree I knew this weekend would be hard weightloss wise so it weren't a shock sick of being in the 16's now though. just tried on size 22 maxi dress I wore on hols in feb and its to big now :D so may have to invest in a new one for the summer

1.3lb off this week and still stuck in the 16's it's moving at a snails pace :( I am 16st 2lb now so not to far to go till the 15's. I'm still doing Zumba weekly but feel like I need to do more I walk aswell but clearly not working.

Isn't it rubbish when it goes at a snails pace! It can be really hard when you have higher losses and then it slows . . .but not far to go now! For some reason, i found my 16's hung around for ages . . .

Walking is good, and I do loads, but for it to have an affect its around 10,000 steps a day that we need to get in . . .and thats some steps lol

Yeah I do no where near that many steps unfortunately :/ thank you I think my sister hung around the 16's for ages aswell it must be that 100lb mark grrr

Very happy lost 2.5lb this week and am now in the 15's yay. I am now 100.9kg/15st 12.4lb :D I am hoping next week I hit double figures but for now this is good what I needed :) and this brings me up to 7 & a half stone loss in total :)

My dad is paying his us all to go to Devon in July so I'm hoping to be about 14.7 by then but were see I am gonna have that as my mini goal anyways I would love to say 14 but its took me months to lose this last stone so I think a stone and a half by July is acceptable :)

still going Zumba went Tuesday think its been about 9 weeks now :) then walked around London yesterday trying on dresses now I'm aching so bad think my joints and muscles have given up the ghost but I was very happy the fact I was trying on size 18 clothes and they fitted in some places anyway and even got into Primark clothes that in itself is a god send finally cheap clothes I can get myself into and I walked in Evans what a load of pap in there I can't believe I ever shopped there even my mum who is in her mid 50's was like wtf is this crap hehe

You did it :) well done! Isn't it great to get past that marker, getting into the next stone down is a huge incentive and thats a great loss this week :)

I also think its great to have a mini goal - I set one back in january for our holiday in August and isn't it wonderful to be getting into those 18's and things . . .I've never been so excited going shopping as much as I did when I was in primark on sunday LOL but its great, cheap clothes and if it only lasts a while you don't mind . . .I have still got some Evans vouchers, but will use them up on accessories or underwear, I can't believe either its the only shop I've used for so long . . .

Great going :)

Lol that's the only thing I ei buy in Evans now is bra's as they cater for my boobies but I don't think I'll be going there other wise tbh

Thank you I haven't had a mini goal for a while so I figure That's a good one :) and it's not to OTT

I think its important that mini goals are achieveable, that we use them as a motivational tool. If they aren't realistic, we only set ourselves up not to achieve it and then it becomes a cycle of thoughts of "failing" which is never a good place to be in.
