The Banders Saturday Weigh In

I need somewhere to boast because as today, 24 days post op, I am 10kgs lighter! Woo hoo......... Still a hell of a lot more to lose but this is my first mini goal achieved. Next Friday I get my first band fill so bring it on.

Well done everyone... brilliant losses this week so far x
Travellingman- you should post your losses every week to show the small steps....or do you just weigh once a month or so?
The thing I like about this thread is that most people show a consistent loss over the weeks. Ok, we all have STS weeks too but over a the months its still coming off. I don't know about you but I've only ever had that once or twice over my entire lifetime! The rest of the time I've been putting on or struggling desperately to maintain which is soul destroying. So although I posted yesterday that I was a bit disappointed with 2lbs this week, I did pinch myself and realise that I've lost 2 stone in 6weeks! I'm just impatient :)

WOW some excellent losses this week!

Ive managed 2lbs but really gutted as im 0.25lb away from my 40lbs !!!

I sts this week....these last 4lbs are a bugger to get off lol - well done e1 xxxx

MrsPill, excellent news on the 2 stone loss, that is fantastic. I normally weigh myself twice a week, Wednesday and Sunday and I record my weight in myfitnesspal. I feel that the next 10 kilos will be a little harder as I can move onto solids at the end of this week after my first fill. I start back at the gym on Wednesday with a cardio program as i would like to lose about 1kg per week. I will now post each weekend. You keep inspiring me.

I agree Joanne- good luck everyone this week.
Travellingman- let me know how your fill went. I don't get my 1st fill until 6 weeks- its different for everyone isn't it! And I'm also not supposed to do any heavy exercise for 6 weeks either. Mind you, I'm a feeble Brit opposed to you healthy Ozzies ;)

I'm also restricted from heavy exercise for 6 weeks, just ask my wife when a tonne of soil was delivered last weekend. I am still sleeping on the couch over that one......

OMG- don't tell me she had to shift it?!! I'd have killed you! haha. In fact I might have left you!! haha. Men!

To be fair I had advised mywife that she should wait a few weeks but no, it had to be delivered on the weekend. I did make her a nice ham and cheese sandwich plus a cup of tea for lunch to make up for it. :)

travelling man ur all heart lol! hope u put sugar in her tea to help keep her energy levels up lol

Sarah, I'm sure you have been working hard other weeks so a little gain is not bad all. Knowing that you have had a hungry week so can better deal with that in the future is more important than a weight gain. Keep staying strong.
