Hi all . A bit late this week but not to worry .Lost 3 lb since my band fill last Tuesday so really pleased .The first fill was no different but this one is .One really embarrassing moment with a meatball in ikea but no problems with it since .Well done everyone Liz x
 
4lbs gone for me this week. Lots of milestones achieved. Reached 8stones off since my heaviest, reached 100lbs off since start of band journey, reached the 7lb to get to goal mark...oh joy :D

I LOVE MY BAND (and I love my husband who is coming home next week after 3 weeks away, so expect to see a small gain or STS week next Saturday, as dining out too often starts again).

Michelle- 4lbs is truly amazing. I rarely see 4lbs off and I think its because I'm post menopausal. My dietician says it definitely has an effect as the oestrogen/progesterone balance changes.
BUT.....wait for it.....
I also lost 4lbs this week and I didn't count calories either. I just listened to my band and stuck to the rules and really controlled on the carbs. I'm absolutely delighted. It just shows that when ur head is right and when your band is tight enough it truly works. I adore my band :)
 
:superwoman: so pleased for your MrsP. 4LBs - celebrate - you have re-found your mojo!!!! I think at some point in time, I will too have to put faith in my band to do the work - but maybe when I am trying to maintain, rather than to lose, because I dont have THAT much restriction to be honest - last time I tried a week off the scales and calorie counting, I put on 4lbs. keep hold tight of your mojo and don't lose it again xxx
 
I'm definitely an emotional eater and this difference this past fortnight has been having adequate restriction along with really trying to combat the emotions in other ways instead of choosing chocolate and sweets. Wine will always be in my life for social occasions but I can control that now too. It is truly, the MOST empowering thing I've ever done in my 54 years. I am a goddess!!!! hahaha
 
Well done ladies- what a FAB loss!
I STS this week. I was 2lb down midweek so my only reasoning is that my body has gone into shock after my band being too tight and not being able to eat OR drink for 36 hours. I've stuck to my calories as always so I'm telling myself that this can be the only reason and my body is clinging onto everything now! Lol
Hopefully I'll see a bigger loss next week. Xx

BD, I am getting to the stage where I am soon going to have to be thinking about maintaining rather than losing. How did you find the transition? Did you go from just doing one thing to doing another, or did you sort of do the transition in tiny steps to find out what worked best for you? What have you done differently? I know you obviously have to eat more, but have you got any hints or tips on the pitfalls to avoid, or how to do it in a way that works. Sorry if that does not make sense, I just would like to benefit from successful maintaining banders experiences :) x

Weighing in today before Easter starts tonight with a wee glass of something cold & I don't mean milk!!! So I lost between 1.5 & 2lbs this week. Really happy cos its my first loss without calorie counting & following the rules.....Hurray :)

3 weeks post op and after initially losing my first stone while on liquids and then maintaining I have seen the scales move in the right direction!! 2lb off which I'm very happy with! Need to lose 6 lb to get into the next stone down!! I would then have said goodbye to 2 different stone numbers on the scales!!!
