Size 14 M&S skirt for work - check!

My size 18's were in danger of falling down!

I really want to buy a thick woollen suit and a woollen dress :)

New skirt. Excuse the mess, not unpacked yet!

Is it a pencil skirt? I just buy what fits and looks okish! £17.50 from M&S!

Top is from Wallis, i've got a red and white one too, look really nice with skirts.

Well, I believe it could be a pencil skirt if it matches this wiki definition: Pencil skirt - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ;-)

17.50 is a price I could never find in Italy. Clothes are soooooo expensive here (unless you buy chinese import in markets). A skirt like that could price between 40 and 50 euros.
I really hope I can reach target weight by Christmas because I've booked a shopping weekend in London in mid Jan and I'm looking forward to it eagerly. London is cheaper than Rome, it's sales times and I like London fashion better than Italian fashion.

all the sales will be on in January. I'm going to avoid buying a new winter coat until then! :)

I just bought a new winter coat- since losing weight I'm so cold that I couldn't put it off any longer! Buying size 14's is the best feeling ever!! And Victoria I do love that skirt and it looks fantastic on you- it is only a skirt slim people can get away with(and that's you wooo)

Aww bless you Eve, i really don't feel slim though, just kind of acceptable if that makes sense. What's your coat like? I've got a Fat Face one i bought in the sales in March that i'm hoping will see me through. All the winter coats i've seen are double breasted and I'm a fan of single breasted coats, i also like hoods but not many have them unless they are parkas and i don't like those x

Ooh lovely thanks Yve. Ill have a look.

I was forced to buy a body warmer today after husband had a fit of giggles last night when I put my old parka style jacket on to walk the dog. It's a 32 but it had one of those pulley inny elastic cords in the waist and I had it pulled right in... I thought it looked okay but obviously it wasn't. I just don't see the point of spending loads on a jacket that is only going to get worn a few times... I hate coats/jackets of any sort but a body warmer was agreed upon lol.

Love the pencil skirt Victoria and agree with Bally the top is gorgeous too.

Thanks Frances. I actually enjoy shopping now :)

Even at an 18/20 I'm having a ball! Heading for the exit of our local ish outlet arcade I came across the ROMAN shop I was all oohhhh and ahhhh and oh oh oh this is lovely and that's gorgeous ..squeal! ....All before I had got five feet into the shop!!

I've done that too, last week..went shopping for some new (cheap) smaller clothes and felt as if fitting size 16s was a waste of time. When I found out that I really could fit in size 16s I would have bought the entire Zara shop! What stopped me was knowing that I'm still loosing weight and that size 16 is (should be) transitory.

Yes having spent quite a bit today on clothes I was aware that I really shouldn't spend any more. Hubby pointed out the On Sale section placed conveniently at the rear of the store but I held back and said noooooo I will come back again a few weeks after our hols... Don't think my heart would have held out to the other end of the shop anyway to be honest I was just so excited hahaha.

eBay was my answer girl! Still begrudge buying stuff cos I'm not a size 12 yet. Will I get there? Not sure.
