The Raw Truth from the start

Lactulose is for constipation, I've been to the toilet about four times in the last month!! Haven't been in about a week so had some this aft. They recommended it at Dolan park. In the past I've not likes taking it but this time it's required!! It is like a sugary syrup. You can buy it over the counter. It's more gentle than senokot etc. unless you drink too much :-0

dulcolax works a treat for me :) 2 tablets as I go to bed and wake up ready to go :) need to do this once a week or I don't think I'd ever go!
Mimi you've done great! Good loss already and as for the worries I had that tshirt (although nothing fazes me usually), bit of preop nerves n thoughts and same again in first week or two post op thinking...is this it for life! Reality was I was just sick of slop! Got onto solids, fat started disappearing and bingo...happy days! Stay focused :)

Thank u jo i have been thinking a lot about afterwards aswell and how i might not b able to eat certain foods again ever and thats scary but i have cut down so much this last couple of weeks and my hubby has started a diet to support me and we've brought a treadmill and an exercise sit down bike so were really determined this time.i think with his and my children support ill get throught it.
Just felt sorry for myself this week because been so poorly .been a bit tearful aswell everything seems to make me cry.

Know how you feel been tearful myself this week with family pressures & can't seem to eat.
On the positive side not being able to eat certain foods worried me pre op. do you know Post op I am so not bothered. Something has gone on in my brain weird but nice sensation. It's really like I am not on a weight loss diet. well I feel I'm not on a conventuals diet like before. This is now my way of healthy eating & is my life style.

Conventional urgggh iPad corrective typing!

Better speller than me never liked english at school but now cant spell for the love of me .

If i didnt have corrective spelling my post would look terrible.

I want to b able to cross my legs without cutting off the circulation lol

Well iv done it 1 stone off yeppee

I feel great thanks Lola really nervous but excited at the same time.
Feel thirsty a lot drunk nearly 3lt today already.is that normal I'm not eating very much at all.

I don't remember getting very thirsty, but sure that doesn't mean anything. Make sure you are eating/drinking all you are allowed, as important as it is to shrink your liver you also need to be as fit and healthy as possible for your surgery, not malnourished. :) its come round really fast I think. It doesn't feel long since you booked your consultation. Soon be post op. don't forget your peppermint cordial or tea. Invaluable. And dry mouth spray. Also invaluable x

I already have both lol .
Be prepared is my moto
Plus iv learnt from u guys .

How can u tell if a fat person is malnourished

No idea but im sure you won't be :D lol
Great loss mrs! Bet you'll soon be on an hourly countdown?!

Ha ha! Not sure but it is possible! I often joked I couldn't be as my body could live off its own fat for a month! But you can be deficient in all your vitamins etc. they advise us to take multivitamins and calcium. I forgot about the calcium but bought some the other day from holland and barratt. They taste like piña colada :-/ yuk. I'm taking bassets adult everyday health multivitamin. It's like a haribo so feels like a treat to have. As long as you are still following whatever they told you, just don't starve yourself. You must be over the moon with your loss that's a great start!

Well done on losing :)

I've not taken a vitamin etc at all. Was told whilst I'm still buzzing n energetic I'm fine :) afterall as we don't get replumbed :)

Replumbed! Ha ha. My fitness pal told me I was really short on a few vits until I put in that I'd had my multivit. I'm not energetic and buzzing! Hopefully that will come with the weight loss. Although its ridiculously hot tonight and we climbed a big hill on our dog walk don't think that helped :)

Mimi I really like them vits! I got three for ten pound from Asda. Shouldn't admit that as they are the competition but that was a good offer :)
