No idea, gave up weighing myself long ago. The band to me was a waste of time and money, have little to no interest in it. I think I am week 37 now and am just eating a normal diet with an empty band, I had it defilled about 9 weeks ago and probably do not think I will ever get it filled again in the future, but.... never say never I may or I may not, I doubt it but I could perhaps want to give it a go again. I will leave my options open.
I think I realised when I had to do all the exact same things to loose weight with the band as I did without I realised what was the point? I was told I would feel fuller longer and eat smaller portions. Well I did eat smaller portions because restriction was horrific, I could not even get a boiled egg mashed up down and all the time the hunger was terrible but was never able to statisfy that hunger, so as far as I am concerned the band does not do what I was told it would.
I can eat less and excercise, drink water etc all on my own without the band filled, having it filled left me with terrible heart pains, crippling sometimes and I thought this is not living being in pain, being frightened to eat, how is that helpful?
So now when I am hungry I can satisfy that hunger and not have to worry about pains in my rib cage and chest pains in my heart and feeling like I am going to vomit when I actually get something down.
I am thrilled for all the women who have found the band to be the answer to their problem, but sadly to a high cost I have found it not to be mine. Oh well you live and learn, I gave it a shot. But what I can tell you is it has made me realise WLS is NOT the answer for me, I will not be paying more to get a sleeve or a bipass. I will do it on my own or not at all, and I am OK with that...
So enough of my troubles
how's you?
