Blumin 'eck Allie ballie, you had us a bit worried there!

A good meeting then. Jolly good. It'll soon be here

I'm gonna strap the phone to mah a*s I think! :D

glad your ok chick,
is the pre op diet the milk and yoghurt one?
Did they mention anything about young children visiting and or visiting times?
Are the surgery lists being solit between mr khan and Dr Heinmann?

said Terri, champing at the bit ;)

great questions T. I would like to know the answers to those as well

Hi guys, I think yes they are done between the two, she is very nice and I don't mind if I have her. As for the visiting Terri, it was'nt mentioned, non of our lot asked about that. The diet is a choice between plan one (No carb low fat diet) & plan two the milk diet. You must pick one and stick to it for the two weeks no switching between the two.

Hi Allie/Waynetta!! Glad to hear you had a successful meeting yesterday!! I have been told by someone else that Dr Heitmann (I googled her!!!) is doing the open ops at the moment. Did she say how many gastric bypass ops she's done or how long she's been doing this? I think, going from my google search, that she did breast cancer surgery before.

Thanks!

ooh thats good that there is a choice of pre op diets. Have they given you a specific no carb low fat plan to follow - or just left you to get on with it

who was it that recentlyhad their surgery done by Miss Heitmann? They were very pleased with her.

Miss heitmann did mine and she did a good job lovely lady. Visiting is 3pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm If I remember there is no 3-4 visit on wednesdays

They send you a diet plan leaflet when they send your op date in a lovely MBE! After your pre op with Mr Youseff.

Oh another thing is the clexane injections, you have to have one the night before your surgery and then for four wks after. My surgery falls on a Sunday and I havent got to go in until 7am the morning of the op. So you have to either sort out with your GP for a presciption for it & do it yourself or for a nurse to come out saturday night to do it. Or you can pick one up from easi book.

She qualified in Berlin in 1986. As a general surgeon, she will have an excellent familiarity with anatomy.

It's the anaesthetist I'm more interested in!
Mr Youseff is really nice too Red, he explains everything to you when you have your pre op and he chatted to us for ages last night.

Anyways I've just scoffed a chinky and boy am I gona miss them chilly chips! lol. Which brings me onto....What everyone is gona have as their final pigout? I just cant decide, but an indian is looking favorite. yum yum! at this moment in time.
