What do we all do . . . .?

I am currently working from home as an Internet Assessor. It is very flexible but only available for 11 months and I have already done 5. I prefer to be in a place where I can talk to people (only have the cat and house bunny at home during the day:( ) so really need a change but my self confidence is pretty low at the minute and the thought of interviews doesn't bear thinking about!

I'm a full time career for my Boyfriend. He doesn't live with me :-( because my house isn't suitable for a disabled person, but we are on the council waiting list for a suitable property.

we have a family construction company, i am a mum to 3 grown kids,, and i sell fetish wear and bbw underwear ,pvc and leather clothes,as a hobby ,been a carer for my 2 beautiful late sisters and brothers during their sad losing fights against cancer, over a period of 10 years, also looked after my late sisters kids,so never really got the chance to have a career as such ,but loved every minute of my time spent with them all x (should have been a nurse so im told !) x

I'm An employee and self employed! I work as a legal secretary during the day and in the evenings I ........ Wait for it ........ Do private typing for barristers (disappointing I know) and a couple of consultants . That's my self employed position and I love it. JANEYF if you have any contacts who need work done I am on the digital dictation system so I can work from anywhere. I'm always looking to expand. KEVIN this could be the start of a beautiful relationship (working of course). Good thread

I'm a fraud investigator for the government (post 16 education). My job takes me mostly all over England but we have been known to cross the Welsh / Scottish borders.

I'm very, very busy!!! ;)

Trained in audit and accountancy before specialising in catching out the wrong do'ers :D

I'm a Property Consultant..very dull compared to all this waxing, playboy business and fetish malarkey; perhaps I too could benefit from a career change! :)

In the past I've done everything from cleaning loos to bar work to charity shop manager to plodding up and down aisles collecting orders at a wholesale drugs wharehouse.
Spent a couple of years at uni in my mid twenties before dropping out and travelling round africa.

Then spent a soul destroying 6 years selling insurance in a call centre before having a mega breakdown and haven't worked for the last 4 years.

So at present I'm at home and claiming disability benefits. No doubt I'll be reassessed soon and found fit to work (i'm not) so fingers crossed it's not until I've lost a lot of weight as appearances do count when you're job hunting.

I'm a train driver on London Underground. I used to work in the Mortgage business and did so for 15 years, but it was so boring! I wanted to be a Police Officer as a teenager but my height to weight ratio was not up to scratch! X

I was a nurse on a mental health unit for 17 years, then a manager of a residential care home before I had to give up work due to lymphodema in my left leg caused by dvt damage and arthritis in my spine. Now keep myself busy as a Town Councillor and a School Governor and I am the editor of the Town Newsletter and keep the website I designed for the Town updated.
