A Step in the Right Direction

Not much walking today but did manage to fit in 2 lots of cardio so think that's made up for it.

Can't understand why these pounds ain't dropping and can't drop cals below 1000 or been told it will be bad for me just yet.
If it's muscle I'm putting on that won't help me just wish it would move I'm trying so hard :/

wtg dreamer and cupid :) still doing fantastically x x x cupid i am amazed too that the weight is not dropping your doing fab girl...... don't get disheartened tho, hopefully your med change will help :)
 
if i were you hunni i would keep logging your intake and keep with the stepping and when u go hospital u have all your evidence to show what you've been doing :) sod the lbs it is but a number surely they cant deny you..... all they are looking for is commitment i think u have that in bucket loads x x x
 
for some strange reason my fitbit didn't sync before midnight so dont have exact numbers but off the top of my head 11,000 odd steps done over the 5 mile mark and done my calorie burn of 2,700 odd so am chuffed. We took a walk along seafront this afternoon, this evening a puppy walk, reaslised i'd not done my targets .... so finished up on the walker :) just topped up by a little more with a late night walk with pup ...... and has given me a head start for tomorrow of ................767 steps :) odd to bed now nighty night all you lovely girlies x x x x sweet dreams

Now my fitbit has sync update on yesterdays stats :) 13150 steps !!!!! 5.81 miles 2858 cal burned YIP YIP x x x

So, I've deleted the app - my phone never leaves my purse so it wasn't working. Need new batteries for my pedometer. However, I jogged 2km on the treadmill this morning so that's got to count for something!
 
Pedometer is on and working! Woo hoo! Though I wear dresses pretty much every day. Does that mean I need to clip it on my underwear?

No the record won't show a difference sadly only the pounds lost will. The nurse told me they have very strict guideline to follow no loss no surgery :'( xx

Agreed don't get disheartened you are doing so well maybe think back to how things were different before you had the motivation to change, see what this new week brings we are all in it together ?

I was told the same. How much longer have you got? I stalled in my third week before dropping again in week 4 so if you've lost a bit quite quick that may be why.

I think my fitbit over estimates the number of calories to be honest because I logged my first night sleep and when it synced this morning even though know how many times I woke up that I had burned 870 cals. My theory is forget the calories and take not of steps and activity. :)

No not banded Hun nurse thinks sleeve and that or a bypass because it's permanent and that's what I want. They do not tend to opt for the band at James Cook so if they say no my dreams are shattered :(

Well done you that's fantastic and what a lovely walk along the coast line which one is it do you mind me asking? You must be really chuffed...
I was on my feet from 5am as decided to do a carboot with my sister what an experience ?? wanted to get rid of some old junk feel like I'm having a clear out in all areas in life ?? forgot to wear pedometer though... Xx
