A Step in the Right Direction

I was banded October 2013 x

Do you mind me asking how much you currently have In your band so far? I'm curious because we were banded round the same time but I have an infil booked for Tuesday, I currently have 7.3 in...
I suddenly went from lots of restriction to only a little have been so confused xx

Tbh the hospital seem to be having a bit of a brain fart with regards to how much is in my band! I've only had one fill of 1ml, but they now don't know whether anything was inserted during the op or not so poss just 1ml Hun x

May I join in, just been on my Cross Trainer for the first time in months, achieved 20 mins, 1926 steps, 1155 metres, and 49 calories according to my phone using step counter, but according to my ct it was 583 kilo, & 78 calories, not sure what one to go with, but hey still moving.

Welcome hunni :) wd on taking your first steps that's amazing :D

Ok so checked out what I thought was calories eaten is actually calories burned so I'm gobsmacked thought it was a big mistake but now I know it's not I'm over the moon :)
Whop whop cupid :D amazing x

This is reeeeallly fab Cupid so what is it, is it an app? Sorry to be a little slow lol You must be really chuffed well done :) xx
It's called a fitbit Hun one of the other ladies uses one and sounded fab so had a look myself when I lost my usual app so wanted something good to replace it and this is amazing. It even tracks your sleep so can't wait until tomorrow to see the results and only needs recharging once every 5 days for 3 hours.

Mine it the fitbit flex so wears like a bracelet but you can get a cheaper one called fitbit zip. :)

Also my profile and other parts of site keeps saying I have restricted access wasn't sure it it was because I'm using the app on my phone any ideas peeps? As really wanted to add a profile pic etc xx

Hi Hun re access it's only until you post so many times everyone's the same Hun. I've not been a member long and mine isn't restricted now, but then I love to post as this site is awesome :) x

I log via fitbit and myfitnesspal (the food list is much better) u can link the 2 together too :D

These are my steps for today! Terrible but haven't been feeling brill so spent a lot of time resting today x x

logging todays steps :) 10734 :) not been far just pottering in the garden so as of 9 o'clock this evening my steps were sitting at 3000 some odd lol so had 30 mins on walker and not long home from late puppy walks :)
Am pleased with steps today, i just made the 10,000 yesterday too, but i have noticed (only this evening) that i don't always make 5 miles despite doing the 10.000 steps? I just assumed it roughly about 5 miles, so have a look back over the weeks on the fitbit reports........... and it seem to be different daily? now hadn't given it much thought, but am assuming its to do with each step distance???? so not only do i need to make sure i'm hitting my 10,000 but also 5 miles :) there is also a burn calorie figure which i try and hit too...............which is 2723... am pleased to announce i hit all my targets today !!!!! now to bed speak soon x x x x nighty night

Was meant to quote this one and say well done my brain doesn't work well this time of night sorry but it really is so motivating seeing everyone doing so well xx

Ladies, you have inspired me to put a new battery in my Fitbug pedometer, last time it had one was about 25kg ago on my last up/down yo-yo, nice to update it.

I've even been well enough to do my regular 6 mile walk this week, finally after 3 months of feeling like crap, it amazing how those steps add up.

I also use Nike+ running to add up the distance, just made it to Blue colour this week, 1000km :p

I also have Hashimoto's, just take regular Levothyroxine for it, although my levels re down, down, up, down, up, down, down, up, up, down... it's driving me bloody mad :(

Hashimoto's is blooming infuriating that's for sure and something I wish they would sort instead of messing with my meds up and down pft!!!

Welcome to the thread and look forward to seeing your posts.

Was very shocked to get a message from fitbit this morning saying warning you have been over active for your target today.....I only did the 30 min power walk even though it is exhausting I didn't expect that lol!!
