A Step in the Right Direction

Over 10,000 for me yesterday. Im at the caravan so I'm going to try m do 10k every day ;) dogs will be happy on the beach twice a day :)

WTG Ali :) thats a fantastic number the dogs will be very pleased to get that kind of walk in every day .... its a great target to aim for and is the target they say is for HEALTH :) x x x x

So far today i've managed 2490 lol am hoping a fair few more by bedtime..... its been a home day Halloween decorating :)
 
I don't log mine due to my ongoing battle with fitbit and related problems. I supposedly did 1480 today

They got me to do a test. Pause...take one hundred steps...then count the number recorded. Over 30 cals extra in every test I done

Also went on to the help site. This adding steps while in the car is common with a lot of people asking for help with it. Some one suggested downloading Drivefit which I did. It does log the driving activity, but does not remove the steps

I sent them an email tonight stating that after having done the test and with my ongoing over recording that I am demanding a replacement unit that the one I have is not fit for purpose. My next step is the trading standards folks

But I did a wee hill near me called croy hill. I went over one side of the hill round a loop and back over the hill. This is about 4 miles, it's a steep climb and used to take me about and hour and twenty minutes. I used to have to stop regularly to catch my breath on the Incline. Today I done it in 47 minutes!!!! I was sweating like that proverbial pig mind you.

We are down at the van and I walked so e more and have recorded 75 active minutes in total

So for the next couple of days I will record my steps as I walk without having to drive to a suitable location as we are down at the static van. We are shutting up for the season this week. We could stay till the end of November, but we are right on the seafront of the Solway firth and it's getting wild and totally frozen. Tonight's I am just glad we are chained down, the can is shuddering and rocking
 
Eek kirsty. Were at the van near cleethorpes n it's fine. Tiny but windy only. Where r u?
11,232 steps today n 42 active minutes. That's without the dogs final walk. Best I've done so far :) go me :)
 
Go girls :) wd Kirsty on trying to sort fitbit issues push for a replacement, i didn't think the could refuse if its a faulty unit.

Just approaching my third day of 10k. Just walked the dogs on the beach for 1.5 hours n fit bit only recorded 18 mins activity! No idea why as I wasn't walking slowly either :( any ideas? The paces went on. Went from 3-9 k
I had to walk that long as I bought a de lish cheese cake slice from a deli this morning to share with hubby lol. I'm gonna suffer :/
Hope everyone is pushing their paces, loving this fit bit it makes me do it ;)))
I refuse to have less than 10k a day this week, fingers crossed :)))
