Gastric Balloon Any ballooners out there? Support needed!

Feeling a bit green around the gills today after balloon put in yesterday, I'm really confused as they are trying to get solids into me and I can't bare the thought... Is that normal? xx

What?!? No. That is not normal. You should be on liquids, yogurts, Jello for 5-7 days before going onto mushy/soft food. I was vomiting from water so can't imagine real food that early. Listen to your body and raise your concerns with the nurses - maybe they are confused?

Def fluids only for a few days esp if still vomiting. As said listen to your body xx
 
I have found peppermint capsules and now my burps are minty fresh lol. They were out if stock on papaya so will need to try somewhere else. Neisie is it the chewable papaya as that's all I can find?
Will also invest in ginger biscuits, they see my favourite so have to be good x

Only fluids, thin soups, milky drinks for first week. Them mushy foods for a week, then solids.

As I said in the other thread every provider is different peppermint. My one wanted me to be on solids by day three and there is no reason why you can't be as you won't do harm to you or the balloon. In reality though I was two weeks before I felt able to attempt it as I was pretty sicky.
 
Happy Sunday everyone. I am feeling good and have been for about 3 days now. I have been sitting her with an odd feeling in my tummy and then it dawned on my I was feeling hungry! 1st time in over 5 weeks. I skipped last nights dinner as I had been out for a girly lunch which was equivalent to my usual dinner but richer, came home didn't even think about a light snack had a bath and went to bed. Had breakfast and now ready to face the world.
Had a sneaky weigh in this morning and I'm now 215lbs from 239lbs so well on track for my 2stone goal by Christmas.

Hey everyone! Happy Monday! Been having some belly pains the last two days so I'm going to do three days of protein shakes and milk. I think I've been varying my diet too much and need to reign it in a bit. My trainer is doing a 3 day juice cleanse so we are going liquid together. Strength in numbers, right? This Friday we have my husbands company party which will be a food and booze fest; I've been planning it for months so it should be good! Then next Friday we are off on vacation for three weeks. Hoping to lose a few more lbs before we go but the scale is not moving... It's actually gone up a bit :( Hopefully a few days of liquids will give me a jump start. My body hates shedding weight - so frustrating. Hubby is home from a long business trip; happy to see him but it's harder to diet when he's here and I'm cooking for him.

Neisie sorry to hear you've been having a few problems. Hopefully going back to fluids for a few days will help. We have our Christmas do on Thursday and I've planned I will drive to avoid over doing it plus I have work the next day.

Eh - it's life. Can't always be losing weight. It's a marathon, not a sprint. Plus, I realized that I've reached my Christmas goal already... I'm doing good, just need to really behave as I don't really have restriction and I tolerate almost anything so my mind has to be strong. Plus, I have to prep for my fill with 3 days of liquids and 5 days after so I don't mind doing a few days here and there so it's not a huge shock in Jan. Going to get some protein powder today to pack for my trip.

Good for you on driving to your Christmas do. I'm going to drink but already planned my food - I'll just hit the sushi (no rice) and the oysters, shrimp, etc. Pure protein :) Dubai is the land of excess and I've been planning the party for months - I don't want to "miss out," I've just got to watch myself and not "mess up." :)
 
Just at the hospital - thought I broke my arm boxing today... Just tendinitis. Need to wear a brace for two weeks. Ugh. Guess that means more cardio :(
