Gastric Balloon Any ballooners out there? Support needed!

I have 750 mls in my balloon but it's a 6 mth one and I have had bad side effects. Like Neisie says it's just a tool I know if I eat the wrong things ie chocolate ect I can still put weight on but the balloon helps remind you with bad side effects lol. You have to work with it not against it. Neisie knows what u r going through as she has the 12 mth balloon as well

I understand what you all say. Neisie how much weight have you lost? and why are you increasing the fluid to 800cc?
My docotr said the same, in case weight loss comes to an halt. It is definitely a money making trick... but hope it helps

I've lost 30 lbs, but I did that in 2 months... The last month I lost nothing. However, I was on holiday for 3 weeks and only gained 2lbs which has now gone. I'm increasing to 800 bc I got the 12 month balloon instead of the 6 month so I could increase the effects of the balloon part way through my journey. I've had a pretty easy go of it so far so hoping the increase will increase restriction, etc.

I've been filled! Up to 800 this time! Feeling good except for some gas (they filled me with air first) and a mildly sore throat, though better than last time. I'll be out of here in 2 more hours and then tomorrow is a holiday so I'll have hubby to take care of me! Planning on a Dexter marathon tonight!

I didn't know about 12 month balloon I'm wondering would this suit me better than a band? I'm in Ireland so I don't know the cost or if anyone dose this but I dint mind traveling. Anyone want to tell me where they had their balloon fitted and at what cost? In EUR please.

I would just Google it. You'll find a ton of info there, including doctors. It's the 12 month Spatz Adjustable - their website is quite good. No scars. I couldn't bear the thought of the scars and then getting the band removed down the line. I got mine done in Dubai and paid about $5,000 USD.

I am glad it went well. I have lost 17 Pounds (8kilo) in 20 days. I have a Spatz balloon as well. If my weight loss becomes slow and I feel I am eating a lot, may be even I will go for increasing the content.

So, feeling a bit crap, but not too bad. Some cramping and a bit of acid, but generally just tired. Throat is still sore and had a little chunk of flesh come up earlier - yuck! Managed a small milk for breakfast, a bit of 0% Fage with a touch of agave for lunch, a cup of soup for dinner, and another small milk for a snack - total is about 400 calories. Haven't been sick and trying to get some calories in whilst varying the sources so I don't go off the deep end when I can eat again I don't have to work until Tuesday so hopefully I'll be up and about by then - took my pups for a walk earlier and it was exhausting! Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

Yesterday I spoke too soon. Had two horrible bouts on the toilet whilst puking into a bucket at the same time. My poor hubby was trying to rub my back, he's a superstar. Didn't sleep at all last night but think that's a mix of jetlag and nerves. I've lost about 3lbs since my fill. I'm sure it's mostly water weight but it's nice to see the scale move. I'm now down 15 kilos which is 33 lbs! Also, my BMI is now 28 which is only 3 points away from being on the chubby side of normal
