Anyone under Luton & Dunstable hopsital

Thank you one last question I overheard that you don't have the dissolvable pain killers and quiet frankly they are making me feel sick, what do you take instead? x

Toni, you can also get boots own brand childrens paracetamol but you need the 6 plus one otherwise you end up taking to much as its a lower dose.

Hi xbander I just noticed where you are from I am just a couple of miles from you, would be nice to have a newbie friend who is close. I am 7 weeks post opp under L&D I am doing well but get a bit panicky that I am not doing things right,

Hi dragonsfairy, i know how you feel, although i am only a few days post op i am scared of eating to much but also worried about not eating enough, am still at tge sipping stage with a straw, but just having what i can manage and hoping its enough for this stage.

Funny question have u been to the toilet yet? What was advised if u can't go. . Laxatives up bum or lactose which is very sweet and could make u dump. I know it's a strange question .xx

I was given senna tablets but othrr consultants give lactalose, but i used dulcolax liquid yesterday which worked very well.

Liquid stage is 2 weeks, have been given loads of meds, calcium chewable, iron tab, lansoprazole (antiacid) for first 3 months, clexane injections for 2 weeks, soluble paracetamol and codine phosphate for pain although i haven't needed to take much pain relief as not in pain luckely. You also have to take your chewable A-Z multivitamin.
They gave me a months worth well except the injections which are only for 2 weeks, then you get it from your GP

Hey everyone I'm back on the milk diet as of today xx hopefully this WILL be the finally countdown to surgery and I don't get cancelled again xxx

Thank you for the information. You are bound to see me. I wonder if milk diet starts Wednesday x

I'm hoping Thursday, cause we are planning on visiting Taybarns near Coventry on our way up to Chester for Easter. It's an all you can eat place, only trouble is i can't fit so much in now since i have been dieting.

Hi all, back home from pre-op. Was done all in an hour? Felt a bit rushed. Did ask about protein, she said not important. Also asked about all the medication on the list she gave me and should I get a pre paid subscription and she did not know? Or was the b12 injection on the nhs? .milk diet starts 2/4/15 .x

The Vit B12 is on the NHS, the calcium and Iron will be prescribed by the GP as will the Lansoprazole which you have for 3 months, the Hospital give a months worth, I have a pre pay card but am on other meds as well.
