BandedHuns Mad Fat Diary

Yay Fill day :0)
Onwards and downwards - the scales that it not happiness. Lol

Good luck today. Hope it helps shift that last 10lb. Though from your photos I think you are perfect just the way you are. But hey, it's how you feel xx

Just had my 0.25ml put in! Yaye. Hopefully that curbs my hunger and helps me get this last but off. I weigh 71kg which is 11.2 st - with clothes too! Go figure! I'm well pleased with that it's a total of 4.6kg over 6 weeks and as the girls reminded me - it's just hit 6 months.

Had a lovely morning with the OH who brought me the most amazing purse! In love with it. He's really treated me. ( see attached )

More so I'm shocked with the double appointment at the dieticians and she was amazed at how I look . She has said 10:10 is my target no lower but we can do 10:7 as the lowest. She said how it's amazing how much my loss is over six months and how well I've worked with my tool. I told her all about my blog from day one and she said how they get a lot of complaints with people saying they hungry and they expections are not met. She did say that my stories are rare. They usually never get a loss from a patient with a defill ( they expect a STS or slight weight gain) she said I keep amazing them, but this is where I said to her I completely use this as a tool to my good diet and lifestyle. I've had to change my life completely. I've had to stop the a use involved in food and treat it as a fuel. And it's hard. I work it every day. Some days are better than others - I follow a healthy eating plan to help keep me on track. She's asked to use me as her model for band adjustments ... So pleased to help her. She's happy with my food quantities and loss - so I'm a happy Hun today !

Pleased to have been allowed the fill and overall had a lovely day - just the rush hour travel home from west London now ' :-(

Nearly double the budget but I loved it so much and he owes me ... Lol ...

Ahhhh I'm chuffed. She was amazed I blogged from the start so people knew.... She thought that was great that I was honest about the band, the troubles, the way stress effects it etc. She sees how much it's changed life ... So basically I have 9lbs left to go!!! Whooooo.... Then she wants to put me on a 17 month maintenance plan. She thinks ill be 10:7 by the time u see her l on 12th Nov. That would be fab. So it's about 1lb -1.5lb a week till then ... Ish.

It's nice to think I will have 17 months cover to try and maintain my weight. That support I get every 5 weeks is invaluable, and knowing I have that much cover left is amazing. I'm tempted to extend my cover too they offer 3 band adjustments and 6 Dietican/nutritionist appointments but I have no idea on the cost but I'll discuss that for long term ( I was talking today about being scared of putting on weight and how I can diet / train for 6 months but then I start putting it on again and I can't have this happen to me again) she doesn't believe as we have so much time that I'll be the one who puts on ESP when I eat well and haven't deprived myself of anything .... ;-) we shall see ....

So 12th Nov is my next fill day / appt

Oh and I didn't get a marathon place! Phewwww!!!!

Just thought I'd post another picture. ( excuse my stretch marks :-( and my wonky angle I took the picture at was hard to take... Also my loose skin under belly button :-( ..... Hummm tummy tuck? Lol )

This is my stomach and scars 6 months post surgery. You can see there is one quite noticeable scar abs then my line in the centre middle is the port which is how it looks after a fill, so no bruising , no cuts. All quite neat.

Just thought I'd pop it on here so for those newbies who haven't had fills can see how my scars are and how it looks after a fill... I don't bleed now, I did a but when I first had them but not now. I didn't even need a plaster today :)

Hope these photos help ....

Is it your first Sharon? It can't be? ....

So fill day one liquids managed yesterday ... ;-) although I did eat 2 slices of wholemeal toast with peanut butter, to take my calories up , had a frappe in London and had tomato soup for tea ... And guess what.... I'm 11.0!!!! Yessss it's kicked in that 3lb stall has vanished! Thank god! Only 7lbs to go.... My jeans are so baggy now it's silly but I don't want to buy new ones ( plus the amount I've spent at LV this month kinda thinking diesel jeans are out the question) just kinda making do with all the smaller clothes I've got from last summer ....

So off back to London for a work meeting now... :-(

Got my daugthers donkey adoption through and I've just framed it for her as a surprise for after school .... It's so cute ....
