Banders Daily Diet and Exercise Log

Cheers hun x It's going great in that I LOVE the food and I am now in ketosis.. I feel well in myself , just not sure what weight is doing. I have been around the same weight ish for a long time with calorie counting and general inconsistancy so I am not expecting to suddenly start losing ...my poor body is giddy with all the nonsense I've put it through and will need time to adjust to my new (hopefully permanent) eating style....you never know though, might get a pleasant suprise xxx
Thanks for asking! Sorry for the waffley reply!!

Hey Neen, glad things are going well on Atkins, i must admit i really liked it when i did it too. Couldn't quite believe i could indulge steak with grilled holoumi cheese, and loads of egg mayo. I never stuck it out long enough to see noticeable results but i was like that with most diets!
It makes me wonder what path i should follow once i am back on proper solid foods. Part of me just wants to forget about following a diet plan and eat what i like just in much smaller quantities, but i also know that things like too much sugar and wheat i find incredibly addictive and i can imagine that it would be easy to cheat on these.
I had limited succces with calorie counting but it drives me obsessive.
Anyway, that was my turn to waffle....just thinking out loud really

Today, my DH works on a saturday so i took my 3 young kiddies to a school fete where they could run around and bounce on bouncy castles til their hearts content, at least walking about was slow paced for me but glad that i am moving about.

Breakfast: Muller Amoir Strawberry yoghurt (addicted to these, they are super high in calories but at this stage i am not too worried as my body probably needs the calories)
Lunch: 1/2 bowl of Soup, 1 options drink
Dinner: Probably either soup or some greek yoghurt with honey.
Water: 500ml....need to do better

Evening all.

Actimel
3 black coffees with splenda sweeteners
1 cadburys highlight
prawns fish sticks, green salad drizzles of mayo and sweet chilli sauce
water - not enough
Supposed to be having chicken and beetroot salad but I have a lot of pain right now.

Evening! Just catching up with the thread... Some of this food is making my mouth water!

I've had a tough week or two with eating. responded to stress by eating, just like the bad old days. Just one of my misdemeanours was 5 packets of crisps in one go?! Eeek. The band doesn't stop overeating on crispy crunchy highly addictive fat soaked foods does it?
Now if I tried to eat 5 apples I'd have no chance due to restriction. Blinking typical.

Back on it now though and had good food day in my opinion:

B - oat so, 200
L - tuna light lunch, 195
Jaffa cake, 45
D - ww wedges and mushroom meal with a mini corn on cob. 275?
Maybe managed half of this as didn't want to stay in pouch for some reason
Crunchie 185

Plus a fingerful of icing from my baby's butterfly cake she made in nursery (she's only 1!). Bless.

Actimel
1 cup of black coffee with splenda sweeteners
2 egg omlette with babybel light cheese and a bit of ham ( I checked the carbs on babybel as they are the light version and they are very low carb)
40 cl of water
prawns, fish sticks, salad, drizzle of mayo, drizzle of sweet chilli sauce
steak, sauce made with cream, onions, garlic, broccoli

Snack - strawberries mixed into total greek yoghurt sweetened with a little splenda - divine:D

I have had a lot today but felt comfortable after I had eaten, in fact it seemed to ease the pain a little - but it is back with a vengeance now. I have also noticed that I am not getting horrible bloating when I keep carbs low. I am probably just over the 20g carbs that they recommend for new atkins induction but as I am hoping I will get a fill soon and be back on 2 weeks fluid then 2 weeks mushies before being back on solids I will just try and stay as low carb as I can.

Exercise - zilch

Do you live at the Savoy ? xx

Ha ha - no Kevin, chesnut mushrooms were on BOGOF and the salmon was Tesco value, just a little treat for the weekend ;)

If my OH had his way it would of been a big fry up but Im trying to encourage him to eat higher protein too :D

Today

No brekkie just 3 cups of tea with skimmed.

Lunch - my usual salad with tuna, served in a shallow cereal bowl to give you an idea of portion size.

Handful of tortillas which got stuck after 2 so the dogs ate them.

Broad bean, sweetcorn, runner bean, pepper stir fried with ginger, garlic, chilli and sweet chilli sauce and a handful of very fine egg noodles.

Not enough water today but 3 more teas with skimmed.
