Banders Daily Diet and Exercise Log

Today

Actimel
3 cups of black coffee with splenda sweeteners
half a litre of nas squash
25cl plain water
tuna salad, drizzle of mayo drizzle of sweet chilli sauce
Rest of home made fish and prawns pie, broccoli and a few peas

No exercise - feel really tired. Started work at 6 am and finished at 7.15 pm but had a break in between to rush into town on an errand. Pain in my side is bad but I have my next test a week on Monday so I am holding on. I feel like I am moaning about this pain. Truth is I am terrified in case it is the worse. It is sheer will power that is stopping me from overdoing things. I am not doing so well in low carbing as I was last week and I can really feel the difference.

Today:

Breakfast - one poached egg and two quorn sausages

Lunch - 2 melba toast with soft cheese, cherry toms and some cucumber

Tea - cold quorn sausages, some sweet chilli sauce

Out and about, a skinny frappuccino, medium 99 ice cream with sauce - mmmmmmmm

Lots of tea with skimmed and water.

Did 2 hours on the wii fit plus with my daughter, a walk around town then an hour walking around the park with the ice creams!

Hello all
As promised I have returned

B - 2/3 cup dry granola
S - 2x snack a jacks and 3x choc digestives (v naughty)
L - 2x snack a jacks with humous and light philly, yoghurt (fruit salad had gone off :()
rubbish tea of 2x packs snaps and a large bar of mint aero, yup the sweet tooth took hold today.

No idea how many cals, not going to beat myself up about it as the damage is done now. Weekend is going to be full of bits and bobs of good and bad choice foods so going to concentrate on staying hydrated and having some good old fun instead of worrying I think.

Managed to stick with my June challenge though and did one hour of yoga, which I am now paying for :)

I love yoga Rache, me and Tara did some on the wii fit earlier. She was making me laugh though, not at all like a class but I can still feel it x
 
Is there anyone who could get me tips if what textured foods to have. Off sloppies and so can now eat anything but seem to be struggling. Not due a fill for nearly 2 weeks.
 
chopster the drier the food and the lower in fat the better hunny. Find things you enjoy eating and adapt them so they fit into that criteria. i.e. fajitas.... we all love them round ours. have loadsa crunchy veggies to go in them and use turkey mince with the seasoning instead of beef mince, much less fat. replace creme fresh for the sour creme and use the lighter wraps. much better for you.eat them slow slow slow and you'll soon see you can't manage as much xxx

45 mins at the gym last night, got a new programme now which I think we'll keep me motivated too. My target is to burn calories which I can see on the machines as I exercise, I think this will work better for me than any kind of time/distance goal. So my June target was to do at least 30 mins of exercise on average 3 times a week during the month which I worked out would be 12 times in June. 2 down, 10 to go!

Evening all. Well for the first time since my op I could easily have gone the whole day without food. I really do not know why - other than I was on the go the whole day.

Actimel

steak, onion gravy, spring greens, rice and peas - left overs from last week which I froze.
A pathetic amount of water - enough to take my meds morning and evening

I really enjoyed my meal tonight. My fluid intake was very low. Roll on the 13th so I can find out what is happening with my band.


Exercise - walking around the Bull Ring indoor market for 1 1/2 hours, over 2 hours on my feet labelling and packing the meat and fish I bought. Trying out my new bike:D. Sweeping and tidying my garage.

been quite tight today after my pear fiasco yesterday and not feeling so well over the weekend.

B - porridge
D - Smoked haddock chowder, half a tub,pack caramel snack a jacks banana in small tub custard
S - prawn cocktail snack a jacks
T - one kiev 2 tblspns mash 1 tblspn peas, ice cream

Had tea and nas squash all day and cycled 9 miles :)

Had no exercise and really don't want to go out now, got so much to do paperwork wise I have to do it and so I have failed my June challenge, sorry folks xx
 
I said I would do half an hour per day exercise, not done that for three of the 8 days so far this month humph :(
Gonna cycle tomorrow to work if it's not raining, but don't feel I should be on catch up. that'll learn me to be unrealistic with my goals hey
