Tyvm Tb, Its unlikely as I been under the neurosurgeon at London Hosp and found out I got cervical and disc trouble in me spine and waiting too see if I am going to need an operation to correct or the back pain will be with me for some time. I am ok though I get days like this - I am a fighter, ty for your post xx
 
Going to start tracking down my daily intake and maybe experience banders ll tell me if where I go wrong. Atm I am only on liquid so not that interesting but want to get into the habit. So B: a hot chocolate with semi skimmed milk. L: tomato soup, managed 1/4 of a pub portion. Snack: latte slimfast Yummy. D: some sweet potato and spicy butternutsquash soup 1/4 of a mug.
 
Yesterday: b, milky coffee with one sugar, lunch 1/4 cup of soup, snack slimfast d, 1/3 cup of soup
Today: milky coffee with one sugar lunch, slimfast, snack tall hot chocolate, dinner 1/2 cup of soup.
 
Hi miserable - I'm not at your stage yet, so all I can give is moral support, but are you drinking enough?

Well I reckon that's pretty good. You seem to have a handle on things - at least for the liquid stage. How long until you're able to move to pureed food?
 
Thursday and I cannot wait. Have been a grumpy mare but only this evening. I cld have strangled my OH. His eating this week end, pizzas, doritos, bacon rashers, burger king, sausage and chips and they smell Sooooo good it nearly killed me :'( but hey its the price to pay to be slim and healthier right :)
 
B) 2 cups if tea ss milk no sugar.
L) soup about 1/2 mug
D) 3/4 of a mug soup although I diluted it with water so 1/2 mug of soup with added water. Then shape delight chocolate..

I'm gonna start doing this again....I'm a bit fed up doing myfitnesspal online.
B: Slice wholemeal toast c butter and marmalade (scraped on)
L:2x ryvita sesame c sweet chilli philadelphia and ham
D: 1 cup corned beef hash (home made in slow cooked)

Snacks- 2 slices chicken.
3 coffees
1L NAS squash
 
Its good to get ideas of what to eat, so I am enjoying people posting on here. And thought I would join in today

B - low fat activia yoghurt, small banana, 25g cereal
L - 100g roast pork, 1 tomato, sliced cucumber, lettuce
D - 3 battered cod gougons, carrots, mangetout, brocolli, cabbage
S - 1 x apple, 1 x diet hot chocolate.

Still thinking about making myself a lovely frothy milky coffee to finish off the day...I know I shouldn't have weighed myself mid-week, but I am so happy - at 16st. That was my initial goal 1yr, 1wk ago, when I started at slimming world - 4st 8lbs heavier. Roll on Saturday weigh-in ... hopefully the two pounds lost so far this week will stay off

B - Low fat yoghurt, banana, skinny protein bar
L - John West Tuna Light lunch with sweetcorn, pasta, water chestnuts(first time, lovely)
D - stir fry - chicken, carrot, mushrooms and stir-fry veg, 1/2 pack noodles
S - 25g packet of mini breadsticks (wouldn't normally - but have driven 6 1/2 hours to Colwyn Bay and back today - and didn't want to go more than 5 hours without eating as my band starts to make me feel really uncomfortable, if I do)
 
I'm on holiday thus week so no scales to put myself on :) I'm eating much more than I would at home and don't even mention the bloody wine!!!!

Breakfast 2 quorn sausages, scrambled egg and tinned tomatoes

Lunch WW chicken cassarole.

Dinner goats cheese salad (ate out)

Snacks

D: 2 egg omlette with cheese. Big bowl of salad c small amount of dressing, 2 ryvitas and a slice of wholemeal toast!
(Was starving- had been in a meeting at lunchtime that i thought would be catered for and there was NOTHING!!! aaaggghhh)
I definitely need a fill- my tea didn't touch the sides!
 
I am so happy everyone is using it again :) b) tea and one coffee with 1 sugar. L) 200 ml of soup. D) MASH finally I though the day ll never come, had about 6 small mouth full. Could not believe it but so happy.

I remember the day that I moved to mushy food - it was soooo good. Just wait till you the move onto the crunchy normal food. Its not just the taste, its also the experience of eating the texture isn't it. Such simple pleasures :)
 
Tell me about it butterfly :) was amazed how such a small amount filled me up
 
I agree Mis & FB...its useful to compare what we all eat. & Mis.. I was terrified of eating proper food again...... really neurotic.. but I eventually calmed down & enjoy my food now... its no longer an enemy!

This is why the thread was started but as you can see not many people use it. Personally I know I have advised lots of newbies to post on here. You never know it might encourage some older timers to start logging again if we keep using it :confused:
