It was really yummy. Trying to keep off pasta - had it three times over the past week - and although it seems to cause the band no problems because I don't eat much of it quantity-wise, I really do think it keeps me bloated. Back to my meat and 2 veg :)
 
I haven't eaten pasta yet just cos I don't miss it which is bizarre as I used to have it like 3 times a week... but I am having my first feel on Saturday so hitting the protein hard this week to shift more weight before hand. Want at least 2 more pounds this week so watch the space
 
Good luck. I focus on the protein too and I do think it helps you loose weight.

Bread/Toast really used to be my downfall (with lots of butter and jam) but I can honestly say that I don't miss it at all. Apart from 1/2 flat bread about 2 months ago and 1/2 slice of fried bread yesterday (very naughty but a real treat) I have not had any bread since 1st July when I started my pre-op diet.

Good luck with your fill. Roll off your next 2lbs :)
 
Yesterday: 2 x go bar cereal
L) chicken
D) scramble eggs
Today:
B) hot water and lemon
L) slice of chicken and turkey
D) chicken wrapped in bacon with cucumber and peppers.
Doing high protein this week to try and loose some weight before my fill
 
B - activia yogurt and granola
L - Melba toast, light philli and 3 pieces of bacon (just the medallion meaty big bits)
D - quorn chilli with grated cheese, yogurt.

Back on liquids today at the advice of my nutrionist, struggling too much after fill no.2! she thinks it could be swollen..,as can manage about 4 teaspoons of food max n then it's uncomfortable. Anyone else had this?
 
I have never been that bad Jo after my fills. I really feel for you. How much have you got in your band and how big is the band? How much did they put in last time? Sorry - I know your weight loss was good last week, but 4tsp of food ... poor you :( Hope is sorts itself out soon. Am sure someone will pop by soon who has experienced similar and can give you some good advice... xx
 
and I struggle at that too lol. my band is Swedish but don't know the size of it, but now have 7ml in. Maybe she's right and that I'm swollen as have brought my solids back up a few times now. So liquids again for few times to let it settle n see, worst case scenario they take a bit out x
 
I still love my food too much to want heaps of restriction. Oh well, give it a while to calm down and I am sure you will be OK. Love the hair on the new pic by the way. One day I will change my avatar (but at the moment I quite like pretending there is a cute mini-me inside)

B) go cereal bar
L) 2 slices of pork and one turkey then homemade carrots cake, it was Sooooo good
D) chicken wrapped in bacon with lettuce cucumber pepers and blue cheese
 
B - granola and yoghurt
L - Melba toast, philly and 2 pieces of cold bacon.
D- sweet chilli sauce with quorn pieces, small jacket spud.
Snacks, snack a jack, hand full of Doritos with salsa dip and a yoghurt.

B - 3 ryvitas, 30g cream cheese, 10g peanut butter
L - lettuce, tomato, cucumber, small tin ravioli
D - 1/4 pounder steak burger (very lean and tiny pieces chewed very very well), salad - nothing else of menu I fancied at the pub
S - mullerlight yoghurt; cupcake (will not be doing that again - my band didnt like it, even though I did, LOL)
 
B) go ahead cereal bar
L) jacket potato with coronation chicken
D) BAD BAD BAD 4 slices of domino pizza
Going for my first fill tomorrow so bad me decided it probably was my last binge of this size so had to have it!!! Gutted :'(
 
Thought I would start posting again ... lets get focussed

B - 2 x ryvitas and 1 oz stilton cheese
S - 1/2 apple
L - salad, 1 oz home-made egg noodles, 3 slices turkey breast, mullerlight yoghurt
S - slimfast bar
D - 100g chicken breast, 1 egg, salad, low fat salad cream, sugar free jelly

May have a latte before bed, but feeling quite full at the moment (gone overboard on the salad, to try to support my OH to lose his excess 1bs gained over xmas - yes, I do like a challenge!)

Breakfast, A light muller light rice vanilla custard
Lunch, coronation chicken salad box with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, sweetcorn
Snack, a muller rice light
Dinner, 4 ravitas with pate and I am starving!!!! :(
 
You don't sound like you have eaten enough mis. I have another fill booked for saturday ... At moment I can eat a dinner plateful of food. Hence the salad to fill me up. X
